Hanover would be a good idea. Since the EXPO 2000 there is a beautiful large arena and the geographical location is very central…

I was born in Arad which I think is quite near Timisoara - would be a good opportunity for me to go there and see my family's history.

As much as I am absolutely thrilled to bits to be able to see him again in France I wonder if his fans are going to totally exhaust him by our seemingly insatiable desire to see him perform everywhere. We seem to have well and truly tied him to the tower of song. Despite a heavy conscience about this, I booked Lille about half a minute after they were released and am counting the days. :?

That's a kind thought, but I wouldn't worry, I am sure Leonard Cohen is perfectly capable of looking after himself and is not a slave to his fans. He is a wise man. No harm in letting him know that we would like to see him again; in fact, it's probably nice for him to hear! I very much doubt he ever reads this forum, but someone may one day tell him that there are huge threads calling for more of him!

I think that's where Leonard is playing and singing is mostly matter of promoters, he seems to choose a few places he wanted to have a concert, but I think the whole Tour is the work of promoters' .
Even if Leonard had never seen this forum and none of it nor read it, certainly knows about it and I think that he is glad he has fans who like him, go after him sometimes hundreds and thousands of kilometers across continents and waiting to any report about he :!: I am glad that I belong to these fans! :)

Their is a Marquee in Cork every year, i have seen Bob Dylan and Neil Young their. It would be great to see the great man to finish off the collection of great concerts in the venue.

Come to Cork, the real capital of Ireland. Lonely planet put it in as 4th best place to go in the world in its list, you won't be lonely in Cork Leonard..
although if he comes to cork, he doesn't nead to go a kiss the blarney sotne, as he already has the great gift of speaking already
i have seen him twice in Dublin..

I saw Leonard in Las Vegas & San Jose and met him briefly in person on the Saturday following the San Jose show. I would say there is absolutely no reason to worry. These were the last two shows in a 2 year run of c. 200 shows, were the longest shows yet (3.5 hours total) and took place on consecutive days with no rest day in between. Despite all this, Leonard was on absolutely top form at both shows with no sign of exhaustion or any other ill effects from the extended tour. As far as I can tell the man is touring because HE wants to!

 Also in the Czech Republic is quite nice places where he could be a concert of Leonard and he could be there definitely liked. Maybe spa town Karlovy Vary - the world famous travel there in summer on the international film festival world's biggest stars - Robert Redford, Antonio Banderas, John Malkovich ... and there's a new hall, which has a capacity of about 4600 people. And in Czech Republic such places are more ... Brno, with a lot of monuments in the town and its environs, where hundreds of vineyards with good wine and where it's just a short trip to Vienna and Bratislava, Ostrava with many industrial sites where it was again close to fans Poland ...
And that is in the Czech Republic Leonard fans enough evidenced by the fact that two of his concerts here in two years saw 22 thousand people! And the Czech Republic has only about 10 million people ...
Leonard, we love you and want you here with us again to see! ;-)

I am sure you're right Suzanne, but he is a free man and can still say "no" when he's had enough! ;-)
