Sorry.it's me again,the reason being that the words have come back to me- at least some.

The opportunity to send you my best wishes personally has provided me with an energy of almost childish dimensions; I went (or flew) home from
the internet cafe, jumped into my boyfriend's arms, kissed him and shouted: "I have just sent my birthday greetings to Leonard!"

What I mean to say is that you have given me this energy often,in times of deep sadness and despair. Suddenly the world started turning again and I was happy. You may have heard this often, but I believe many people share my simple experience and I wouldn't want to let this chance go by to thank you so much, be it only once in my life.
What Elizabeth said a bit earlier on is true for me,too, and I hope she isn't upset if I quote: "no one personally unknown to me has been so prominent in my life". Your songs are playing in my ears literally all the time. To every step there is a tune...

Just to celebrate Leonard a little I picked up my guitar to play some of his songs and once again I realized how much this man's work have meant to me... I can't even express it in words... After a couple of hours in the company of his poems and songs I'm losing all distance and there ain't anything to say... Congratulations Leonard... I didn't have money to support the birthdaygift... but I promise to send you something really nice when you turn eighty to make up for it...
