Thanks Victorine, and others, for arranging the meet-up in Lille. It was good to put faces to names and eat, drink and chat together.
Thanks in particular to somewhat-nifty for the whisper in my ear as I was in the Eurostar queue, that Leonard was in fact within a stone's throw away.....and so off I went. Eternally grateful. If she's still on a high, I daren't think what I'm on!

I have lost your phone no. If anyone sees this could they pass on that I have already collected the tickets and have David's ticket to hand, so would be better to meet at the main entrance not the horrid ticket collection corner. Main entrance outside, is a big vertical orange banner to the left I will stand there around 7.15 pm. Anyhow, if you are not around I will go to the ticket collection zone down the windy corner and find you there.

No problem - glad it worked out and you could still get the train! I hope you make it to Las Vegas - be sure to come along to some of the meetups

Thanks very much - I would have gladly missed the train for the chance to meet the Great Man! I will certainly try and come to some of the meetups in Vegas. Looking forward to it already!
