thank you, alan. i have been away and returned to find several messages. so good of you to respond to these pictures, many people have lost this courtesy.
yes, hovercrafts still in operation here and there, but ferries are best because then you can take a car. also, bridges and tunnels being constantly opened.

truly exceptionally wonderful! thank you, alan. we all have gifts to share with others, even if it is just a smile.
i will be disappearing in a few days, not sure for how long, probably a week or so - so don't panic if i go quiet for a short while. geoffrey will never leave you.
it's saturday now, the weekend is here. time to forget about ukraine, corona, climate and all the other depressing things they keep bombarding us with. time to get up on your feet and start enjoying going to the shops, meeting people and feel the stimulation and inspiration flooding your veins. there will always be another day tomorrow, full of all the brightness and joy we carry into it. never let anyone grind you down - nil desperandum! i got to run while i still got the time, the work is all done and there's mountains to climb
