If I stay overnight in Manchester, I stay at the International Hotel which is opposite Picadilly Train Station. Very comfortable, not posh and reasonably priced.

Hi Stan. Are you sure about this date? The 19th is Thursday, which is apparently the night connected to the Guardian newspaper, and not on sale yet.

I've got a ticket for Thursday too - and I despise the Guardian! Bought ludicrously expensive ticket from a tout though and keep having nightmares the ticket will never turn up.

Hi Davido

Thanx for bringing it to my attention, I did realise that point after i posted my message, I am still waiting to see my son today to try and clear the matter up.
I am sitting hear bitting my finger nails and hoping that he put the order through and just made a mistake on the date.

Hope it all works out OK. As you say, your son has probably just mixed up the dates.
If it is the 19th, then he knows something we don't!! :)

He booked my ticket but did not wait for the confirmation email therefor thought he had got me one,but i phoned up ticket master to check what date i was going on and they have not recieved my credit card number so obviously [just wiping away a small tear] i am not going now, i am realy gutted but i hope all that got one enjoy what i will miss.

OH No, Stan! No wonder you're gutted!
Try the 'Find, sell or swap tickets' thread, and check out the Guardian on 4th April.
If it's any consolation, Jarkko did say that if this leg of the tour goes well, then Leonard is planning to be back later in the year for more 'indoor' gigs.

I booked our Finnish team to Travelodge Manchester Central (Pirkko, Martti, Eija & me).
Now hoping that our tickets for June 17 and 18 won't get lost in the mail!
