This whole situation is ridiculous. Getting a straight answer from someone who actually knows what they're talking about seems impossible. I am ready to camp out all night for the tickets but I don't want to get robbed/raped or anything. Some clarification would be much appreciated.

Well - you probably wouldn't get robbed or raped (it's Hamilton - not Detroit!), but you may not get tix for that show if you do. The internet is the easiest way. (I am not lazy - I have just waited 4 hours in line, been the second person and still not receivd tix to a show.... I was told by the venue that tix sold in under 2 minutes - the time it took the first person in line the be served by the pimply faced kid at the box office.) The refresh button on the tickemaster website is much faster. My suggestion is to make sure you log on with a fast connection. Good Luck!!

The problem is that every venue in The Maritimes sells the tickets in their own way. Some seem to have all kinds of groups that have right to first refusal - season ticket holders, VIP passports, "friends of the theater" -type of foundations or associations and so on. It is possible that some of these very small venues are in fact almost sold out when the public sale begins. Anyway, you have to ask the theaters how to get the ticket!

So, is it official ?? There will be NO password for the Hamilton sale ?? sigh....

I am wondering why my previous post was deleted. Was it offensive or something?

We deleted one message that contained a password and a reply to that message (with the first message gone, the 2nd was hanging in the air!). Maybe your message was one of those? Certainly not offensive in any way!!

Got tickets just now. Got through on the first try, went through the process as fast as I could, and wound up with Row J, less than two minutes after the hour.

So... there being rows AA to HH, and then rows A through J, minus row I possibly, that lands me what, seventeen rows back? There's gotta be a LOT of reserved blocks out there.

Anyway -- not the worst seats, but far from the best. Surprising that I wound up with better seats for Montreal, yet it took me far longer to go through the process there.

Just got 2 tickets in row K!!

I called ticketmaster and they have no answer for me. I am extremely upset.
