In the hope that he will do it... and in the hope that someone with some influence might see this.... Yorkshire opens it's arms to Leonard Cohen.

Sheffield City Hall would be an amazing venue. KD Lang and many others agree!

York Barbican Centre or Harrogate International Centre would be errrrrrrrrrr... mighty convenient for me! :D

Unofficial dates I found browsing thru regional papers and websites:

Ljubljana, Slovenia, Hala Tivoli - September 25 - on sale in few days - http://www.zavod-tivoli.si/ (It's a sport hall, but also serves as a famous concert venue. Basketball part has 4050 places, both standing on the parket and seats around, probably that's one for the shows; left half of the hall - hockey on ice - is 6000 seats.)

Belgrade (Beograd), Serbia - Arena - September 30 (first date was Sept. 10, what was too early) - http://www.arenabeograd.com/ - 19394 seats

Sofia, Romania - somewhere here
Budapest - also

Also, Serbian newspapers said that one of major thing for having a show is that the distance between two venues has to be under 400 km.

(Vienna-) Ljubljana-Budapest-Belgrade-Sofia is in the line, except that it's little more between Serbia and Slovenia - and what's funny, Zagreb is on the half, and there's no concert it seems.

I guess we will know everything next week, when Leonard's management publish the schedule here.

What about Finland? Is he coming... I'm waiting - and I'm sure many are... hope it's possible, really.

***Terve Aune! Vahvistus saataneen parin viikon aikana.

Toivomme... :D

Just in case our old friends are involved there is a ticketmaster "priority" service that costs twenty quid and may help you to queue jump a little bit. I joined it for Tom W tickets and got some and I guess demand was pretty heavy. I managed to find details of the service on the TM website. In any event, good luck!

This is a pattern I've seen on a number of forums devoted to artists I'm fond of. South Americans plead and beg incessantly for the artist to travel to their part of the world, and if that doesn't work (it usually doesn't) they will optimistically resort to announcing tour dates themselves in the hope that the artist will cave in and fulfil the engagement. Gotta love 'em.
