Well hello, Gamblin' Man. Nice to hear from you. But, hey, don't shoot the messenger. That was the scuttlebutt I heard and from more than one source. And not to put too fine a point on it, accompanying a friend does not maketh a ....
I recall reading that LC has remained friends with all his ex's.

I couldn't help but laugh at your 'run-in' with security. You were not going anywhere! And what were the dire consequences when you wouldn't budge - a very courteous "Let me know when you're ready", from the 'street police' !

The security was extremely tight. When I think about it, why they let me park in the Theater lot on a security controlled street is priceless. It was the hat after all... ? The person who offered to take my picture (believe me, I did not ask) was the "wife of" the VP in charge of running the event. I told her I was thinking about crashing like that couple did at the White House dinner. She said they had heavier security than the White House.

What would they have done to me? Good question, Mary. Can't imagine.
