Just to put a positive spin on this (or wishful thinking on my part

) I find the current mystery has an important clue similar to a Sherlock Holmes clue, "The Dog That Did Not Bark In The Night."
In this situation, from a Krakow traveler's perspective, we see "confirmed" concerts slated for:
August 6 Oslo
August 14 Odense
Sept 15 Caen
Mmmm... there are a lot of potential dates that are currently "quiet" in between those dates.
So, I am thinking positive, indoors and seats.

Jarkko, you seemed to earlier totally rule out a Krakow-event related appearance, but Arlene/Bridger and I (and no doubt others planning to go to Krakow) clearly still are holding out some hopes in that regard--can you comment at all?

AEG also give On Sale dates for the shows as follows:
Oslo: April 14
Odense: April 19
in line with the original pre-sale information. Does that mean that there is a pre-sale for Oslo tomorrow, as per the original "plan"??

Oslo seems to have a standing area in front of the stage ("Unummererte Staplasser").
That's just for the A-ha shows. There is an all-seated configuration available too.

It's not that I am expecting or even anticipating the possibility of it... however, if Leonard were to give a concert on a date during a time frame relative to the Cracow Event, I feel it would not be done for the sake of the Event attendees [as he's bypassed being in the vicinity during other Events, appearing for singing or otherwise, due to potential hard feelings on the part of participants of past/future Events], but would be done for the sake of a heartfelt gesture of goodwill and healing for the Poles, due to the tragedy that happened on Saturday. The Polish people are longtime, extremely loving and loyal fans of Leonard's. As I already said, I'm not really expecting this to happen, but if it were to happen, I feel that his intent would be for higher purposes, beyond the benefit of the attendees at one of the Leonard Cohen Events.

We have more announcements coming. Tomorrow (April 15) we have one concert that goes on immediate presale at 9 am.
Then we have another concert that will be announced on April 16, with a presale a bit later. Looks like this is the westernmost of all 2010 concerts.
I will post the announcements at midnight my time unless otherwise advised.

Well, I will be getting up at 245am

tomorrow, with a strong cup of coffee, in order to be online at 3am my time for the announcement of concert "X" and the immediate presale. What we do for love.....
And then will patiently await the announcement of the "westernmost" concert!

If at all possible, could you please confirm again whether the UK is ruled out of tomorrow's announcement, as it would save a few of us having to make special arrangements to be in front of our computers at 7am UK time; the logistics of it can be quite tricky when you have kids, jobs... Of course, if you can't say anything, I understand. Many thanks!

I will announce the locations at midnight BUT the Thursday presale begins at 9 am local time of the venue, that is Central European Summer Time (GMT/UTC+2). You may draw a conclusion from the time zone...

Thanks Jarkko, I appreciate your taking the time to answer and, yes, I've got the message.

Pretty much what I expected...

What????
Or, more to the point, what does this mean??
Is there any suggestion that the existing dates (Zagreb, France, Katowice, Moscow, Bratislava) are affected by this cancellation / postponement?
How do I explain? Concert Bratislava Katowice and canceled or postponed?
Jarkko, please reply.
