The cover photo almost has a religious quality to it. I can't explain but it does to me.

The photo is indeed by Dominique Isserman. It is in the tour book that I believe I bought in Barcelona and she is given credit for it.
I loved it when I first saw it and think it is a perfect choice for the cover of this recording.

Hats off to Dominique, then.

Worth purchasing for the cover alone.

Great cover and good title. Im particularly glad that "Heart With No Companion", "Partisan" and "That Don't Make it Junk are Included". It's also pleased that I attended one of the featured concerts ("Chelsea Hotel" at the Royal Albert Hall" Nov.17th 2008).

Wow, that cover shot is extraordinary! So classy, so beautiful, just like Leonard himself. And what a great selection of songs. I'm glad to see that there will be a CD/DVD combo like IOW. Indeed, Sept. 14 cannot come soon enough! (I've marked it on my calendar! Not that I'd forget...)

Leonard looks "cooler" in that photo than any superhero I can think of. Superman and Batman included!

I too love the cover for 'songs from the road'. I agree with Ladydi it would make a great poster. Rather like the famous James Dean or Dylan. Black and white makes makes it very special. :D

And yet, even from the back, he is easily recognizable!

I am particularly excited to hear Heart With No Companion. I was hoping for it at MSG, but the sonic quality from the Cohen Live record isn't that great, and this band would have been perfect for it. Dino and Neil, I'm sure, shine on it.
