An hour into load-in and not a single speaker stack has been flown. Etienne Lapre gets to the bottom of the situation.

We Cohenites are so eager for any morsel of news about the tour, so I thought I'd post this tiny bit.

When I went to see the Webb Sisters' last gig in LA, Etienne Lapré was doing their sound. Hattie called out from the stage a few times for him to make some adjustments to the mix, referring to him as "Eti". She explained , that's what Leonard calls him.

It was RTL Croatia, said Roscoe at the meet-up. Our meet-up was also recorded for the national television (HTV) - interview with Damir Sodan, translator of the Book of Longing, and me.

Really enjoying getting up to the minute notes from the road via Twitter, and great that they come in as texts on my mobile. There I was last night walking the dog and checking the latest news from Zagreb at the same time! Isn't technology wonderful, and those who use it so well in providing this service; the atmospheric photos are great.

Yes, surprised there are so few posts here, as it is such a great idea. At least there are three of us ! Maybe lots of people are following but just not commenting. Is there a way of thanking Joey, to show we appreciate his efforts? Missed them when gone - glad to see problems resolved, and have been checking back on the Sligo ones; I was lucky enough to be there, although already it's beginning to seem like a dream - too good to be true !
