I also will be flying out from Mass. to see his last concert. I agree wholeheartedly with everything you say about the last 2+ years of Leonard's grueling schedule of travelling and concerts. All the love from his fans must surely have overwhelmed him. However, I am sure he is in need of a rest. He does look like he could do this forever doesn't he? ... Maybe he is just now getting the hang of it.
