Now, how did I know which thread would be lit up with your name, Maarten?
I love your new cobalt technique with your photos. GREAT isolation on the guitar with the body outlined and the mike highlighted. Great photos overall!
Love your adaptation for kissing Hattie.
I'm guessing you loved last night, eh?
Will you be going to another one on this tour?

beautiful girls, all of you, indeed.
my photos are as "good" as my eyes, so i put more trust in my ears, these days.
what i heard was beautiful, too, but my words to describe the evening are also as poor as my images.
i was sitting far from the stage, but the sisters sounded great, and i listened with closed eyes most of the time, anyway.
these photos hope to give an impression of how great those little creatures were, that night in brussels.
to all those from this forum, who were not there, that evening : if you get another chance, go and see them, they're great.
to those who were there : thanks for your kind words and things, after the show ; that was the icing on the cake, for me.

@Maarten...I know you must have been in heaven!
Thanks everyone for their photos! I adore Hattie and Charley, and I cannot express how thrilled I am that this concert tour is so successful!!
Wish I could be there for one or two concerts, but not possible. However, my good wishes go with both of them, and hope all my European friends enjoy every moment!

For a short summer holiday I travelled from Finland to Paris for the Webb Sisters concert, and it was indeed worth it. I bought the ticket from FNAC as drsing recommended (Have to say I still have no idea what languange the workers of FNAC store spoke, it surely wasn't english but didn't sound like french neither. It was an interesting operation.)
The concert place, Le Reservoir bar was a comfortably strange place. I wasn't sure what to expect, and found out it's a basement bar in some sidestreet of Paris, full of rococo furniture and mirrors. It was quite small place, providing a great intimate atmorphere for the gig.
The concert was great. I can't but admire the musical talent of Hattie and Charlie, with just two of them on the stage they are able to create a sound of a full band, truly admirable. And it was great to see that the audience was really listening and focusing to the music, which doesn't always happen on concerts when people are too busy spilling beer over each other and beeing goofys. I think the setlist was build mostly to the songs of Savages-cd, and also there was a series of cover songs of Johnny Cash, Elvis and Leonard Cohen, which is a compination where you really can't go wrong.
I took some pictures also, they can be seen on my photography blog at
