BARCELONA October 3rd meet-up

I see on the internet that there is an overnight train daily that leaves Paris late afternoon/early evening and arrives in Barcelona the following morning, with private cabins, dinner and braekfast. I am sure it is more costly than flying, but it seems like a very relaxing way to make the trip. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with this train service and might provide feedback. Thanks in advance!

not familiar with it... have seen it advertised on Eurorail, but yes, very costly! due to that, i won't be taking it otherwise, it seems it could be relaxing and fun.

This is a good service, you only have to consider if you will be able to sleep in a train.
Maybe you should consider flying to have more time to visit Barcelona.

Hi there,
I'll be attending the Barcelona concert and will join any meet up organised there. from what I recall from the 2009 concert, the only transportation available after the show was a bus to placa de Espanya, so I've booked the same hotel as in 2009 (placa de Espanya is also a convenient location as there's a direct bus from the airport)

We are considering organising a guided tour in Barcelona plus lunch on Oct 3rd.
As most of you have already visited Barcelona, we are looking for something special, a Picasso tour or a Jewish Barcelona....
October is still high season for guided tours, so we would need to know how many of you would be interested.
We are also trying to have a "musical" meeting on 2nd evening.
