I can’t imagine a single thing in the physical that cannot be used as a metaphor for the metaphysical.
Here is what I think might be a reasonable metaphor of the bee from a male perspective
If she is willing
to break the rule
and feed me the stuff
meant for the royal jewel
I would be a fool
not to follow her reign
gliding ever sideways
from train to train
And you can always find a way for it to be true.
