Let us hope that 2015 finds Leonard in blooming good health, and feeling slightly bored. :D

This sounds as if I may have already seen Leonard perform one last time :?
It always feels so right, as though I'm home, when I sit in those seats and experience him.

just a few words , but from an authoritative source and i for one felt them keenly.
oh well we all knew there is no such thing as a never ending tour .

I guess the last show may be in Australia or new zealand , but i like symmetry so would love it to be in Fredericton

Hm... wrong venue, wrong city, wrong country, wrong date, but the month is correct!
To our friends in North America: the tour will be closing far away; no more concerts in USA/Canada.

This line from Jarkko is making me appreciate my great tickets to Brighton and London's 02 even more.

I wonder what his plan is for 2014. Will it be another CD or book, or perhaps just a well earned break?

It will strange not to have Leonard's concerts in my life - but I hope coming off the road means we get more new work. (Although I'm equally happy if he stays well and contented.)

Also, I wonder if there will there be a on Old Ideas tour dvd to mark the end of the concerts?

I was also looking forward to seeing his smoke that cigarette at 80!

Last month Jarkko did advise the forum that those of us in North America or Europe may want to attend a concert before the end of the summer tour.

Based on the Australia countdown thread, the 2013 tour should end three days before Christmas Eve, so that would be on Dec. 21. We now know the final concert is not in Australia. New Zealand seems like the most obvious alternative. But if the tour were to take a dramatically different route than previous tours...well, there was a cancelled concert in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, that might be revived. There was also talk about South Africa in past speculations. Tokyo is another possibility for an entirely new location.

Although it's on the other side of the world to Australia and New Zealand, my guess would be Israel. There couldn't be anywhere else for a final concert.
