My first note on this forum --and finally finding some people who might understand my love of leonard cohen. Dear Heather, evoked memories of my childhood, oddly enough, the sound of words being repeated, simply for the love of the sound of them on my tongue, in my mouth, like snow melting on my nose, --I absolutely delighted in listening to that album on a trip from Edmonton to Calgary. Leonard sings from somewhere deep within my heart --I try to understand and then I jsut enjoy. From the first song I heard of his in Like a bird on a wire, to this album some thirty years later. Still loving leonard.
