Montreal pre-sale (our quota sold out)
Re: Password for Montreal pre-booking-it opens at 9!
I have asked where we go, and looks like the pre-sale quota is sold out for all three days. We had hundreds of tickets to every of these shows, but there were so many members also from US and Europe who were lucky to get theirs. The rest of the tickets (most of them in the cheaper categories) will be available in the official sale that starts on March 13.

Tell me if I am crazy but I am able to see the password without logging into this site. I thought this was priveledged information for members of the forum??? suz

I am also able to see the password without logging in.
Re: Password for Montreal pre-booking-it opens at 9!
Perhaps it's the reason the hundreds of seats were sold so quickly. I guess I just thought we were special and were the only ones who could see this information. I'm in Cali so not a big deal now but I'd be ticked if I couldn't get tickets because this information was leaked to the ROW. Peace out. suz

Someone on ebay is selling the password for the Toronto concert:
http://cgi.ebay.com/LEONARD-COHEN-TICKE ... dZViewItem
I guess he/she will visit this site then pass it on to those who have paid $7.95

How sad someone can operate a business selling strategies to "beat the system" & can get away with taking advantage of LC's generous offer.
Looks like they do it for all sorts of shows, so obviously very slick operators that monitor fan clubs and forums. I'll bet they didn't restrict themselves to "7 sales" either.
I really hope that those members who have been here on this site for years don't miss out because of some ebay chancer!!
I don't think I can afford to go to Canada or Europe. So I might have to wait for the "Leonard Cohen Live at the Castle" album I hope comes out next year

I'm amazed - I'm obviously totally naive about these things, but I cannot believe that someone is "selling" a supposedly secure password on ebay?!?!?! What a spivvy way to turn a profit!
Get a real job.
Get a real job.

To the last poster - yes, the password is JARKKO.
However, all the "pre-order" tickets appear to be sold out. When I started trying for tickets about 40 minutes ago, the 23 and 25th appeared to be unavailable, and the 24th was giving the message that pre-order sales begin tomorrow (March 12th) at noon (12 pm). When I go there now, 40 minutes later, I get the message no more tickets available.
This probably means the pre-order tickets have been bought up. Congratulations to all those who got them! My only hope now is that I can get a pair when the general sales begin on Thursday (March 13). My fiancee, who was born and grew up in Montreal, is a huge devotee of Leonard's poetry and music, and I would give my left arm to get us a pair of tickets - it's her 40th birthday this year, and I can't think of a more appropriate way to celebrate than to go see Leonard in Montreal, at the Jazz Festival!. I'm really hoping to surprise her with tickets! I'm not a praying man, but today I will be praying, just in case...

Just wondering why there is no advance booking for UK or europe,
guess we just join the masses and take our picks?
***I have not got any pre-sale info for Europe from the tour management. With things moving so fast right now it's going to be too late soon. So everybody get ready to buy tickets when they go on sale at the official ticket sellers. If we get a new update it will of course be posted at once! Pre-sale for Toronto begins tomorrow*** / Jarkko

More shows to be announced...I am extremely hopeful that Atlantic Canada will be included, will there be pre-booking for all dates, even those unannounced?

Thanks for keeping us all updated Jarkko. It's depressing that you're experiencing the brunt of people's frustration with the presale. I don't think that presales are that difficult to set up (but what would I know?!) but I would imagine that you would have heard something by now and I would also imagine that LC's management have plenty on their minds at the moment!andybok wrote:Just wondering why there is no advance booking for UK or europe,
