Dear Cohenite friends, have a great time all of you!
Needless to say, I am quite envious and sad, but the memories of that place live on anyway!
Someone please say hello to Nicholas for me - he's such a delight and it was so wonderful to know he saw Leonard in concert at Terra Vibe last year (something he was so happy to share this with me last August)!
Once again enjoy your time and spare a thought for all of us who want to be there but can't for whatever reasons!
Cheers,
Andrew

I'm gobsmacked happy that Nickolas got to see Leonard perform in person

. He's always understood our enchantment, but just knowing he got to see him, too, makes me look forward to being able to celebrate that fact in person with him when I return to Hydra

!
YaY, Nickolas

Hi Homies
it is Saturdaý June 13 almost 8 p.m. - We are sitting outside of Rolois, they've got wireless LAN now and I am typing on Jarkko's small Toshiba. I love my life.
Jarkko's movie show is starting in about an hour and the entry fee is 3 Euros. It's myth that a Mythos is less than that. Everything looks fine so far. We expect the first troubles for tomorrow, our fourth day on Hydra when we all start to get sick of each other. Our Sunday dinner will be at the new Kamini Beach restaurant called "Castello Restaurant". It's really well done, but we wonder how it will survive with the posh prizes. Anyways - it's so good to be here with friends and I hope that you who had to stay at home now will be part of the madness in two years time.
H.

'Madness'? Now I really really wish I was there! How could LC fans get 'sick of each other'

?
Best regards to all of you!

Hello all you Hydra heads!
I am so jealous I am not there as it is raining most days here in Ireland. I hope the days are heavenly and time is going at a really slow pace for you all there, so it seems more like a month than a week. I also hope you are all being kind to the donkeys and not sitting on them on the way home drunk every night. HI to all my friends I met in London and Berlin and special hi to all the other lucky Irish people that made it there. Please take me with you next time.
Take hundreds of photos and write lots of wild reports when you all get back home and back down to earth
I just noticed that this is my 500th post! I better open a bottle of wine here too.
Love Tinderella

Thanks Lizzie... 'twill be a long time before I catch up with you. I cannot wait to read the reports either.
I was just looking up Hydra on the web and I saw this
http://www.castellohydra.gr/
Have any of you been to the Castle?
I am still jealous.

Interesting that Castello is advertising dancing to a resident DJ. Since Heaven closed, there has been nowhere for people to go late at night other than the bars ... and Castello is far enough away from other houses to be able to make a bit of noise without disturbing people.

Well then, I expect all you good people to dance the night away tonight as this is the last night of the weekend. No bed before 4am.

Hi all,
I promised to upload some other articles, so here we go! I took this opportunity to finally get some own webspace, so you can find the start of my new website here:
http://www.maartenmassa.be
Comments etc... about my website, the articles,... can be made on another topic:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=15361
This way, we can keep the "Hydra" thread reserved for "Hydra" news...
By the way: Jarkko, can you change the link to my setlists-pdf file on your website too (on the page
http://leonardcohenfiles.com/tour2008-1.html).
Direct link:

Enjoy Hydra and the company!
