Hi Jimbo ~
So, with the cat one, did you intentionally change the scene itself?

The forest

strolling in the softness
of a pine needled forest
listening to the opera.
of the life filled stream
rushing endlessly away
to the end of time.
leaves floating upwards
on their white knuckelled desent
oer the silver edge
of the magestic
waterfall on a moonlit night
of forest love
all quiet my deer
listen to the nightingales
song of yesteryear,
just goes to show that beauty and danger are always close by..
I would like to dedicate this poem to all who died in the forest fires yesterday
in loving memory of my fellow men

Hi Jimbo ~
I have much to do today and tomorrow, so I may not be online so much, either. I've basically just woken up and haven't even had coffee. Was up very late last night with Harry Chapin. I'm sorry to hear that your sister's computer is virused. What a mess that's going to be for her, and many delays for you.
Yes, everyone is different. When you do have some time, try listening to "Flowers are Red... " in the Other Music section, where I posted it under the thread titled "The Sniper (& others)." It's by Harry Chapin and makes that exact point with regard to children in the educational system.
I asked only because I wanted to know whether you were making suggestions for rearrangement of Manna's, or simply writing something yourself to be appreciated in its own right

.
G~d bless you, James. Have a good weekend.

I love the mood, feelings, images, and surprizes in your longer one about your walk in the forest, listening to the opera there

. Really beautiful, Jimbo.
At least several others, along with me, defend or at least fully support your right to be yourself here; if that means being different [as you've suggested regarding your bird and cat poem], then that's part of our support for you, too. The basics of this poem show the beauty you see in the world, which in turn reflects the beauty in you.

Ido.
You are my
Teacher.

Sunrise smiles on my
Caragh lake ,
Shining
softly,
remembering,
unchristened
children,
Buried
in their
unmade
Island
Cradle.
