Talk about frustrating.....did the frontier password thingy.......did the leonard cohen fan site thingy......did the ticketek member thingy.......bookmarks and passwords out the kazoo and still could not manage to book a $%#^ ticket...... ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHH All I wanted was to splurge one time and buy some really great seats - even though I am not ever sure about the seating chart for the concert, even after trying to figure that out -----

Leonard, I love ya, but I am afraid I will just have to wait and buy another cd. I am just too darn slow on the uptake to deal with this.......anyone out there score really great seats and want to scalp them to me, reasonable like ? I didn't think so..... lol

Firstly, thank you Jarkko, for your wonderful updates here, very much appreciate the password/pre-sale ticketing information.
Unfortunately, we were away for the weekend and didn't arrive home until after 5.00 pm on Sunday evening so we missed the fan website pre-sale tickets. :(

Yes, davo, I agree with you regarding the 'Frontier/Ticketek' password/login details proved very frustrating when attempting to obtain tickets today.

I sat at my pc from 12.00 pm-1.15 pm continually refreshing my page and re-logging on a few times and FINALLY at 1.15 pm secured some Platinum seats -

This seems so unfair, DAVO, isn't there something we can do to help?
Even if you missed out on getting presale here, I am sure you could still get some great seats. Tell us what venue you are wanting to go to and surely we could make some suggestions to help you get your tickets. Don't give up.

I dont understand, the fan club tickets were plentiful, I got mine for Sydney on Saturday night and logged in again Sunday afternoon toying with the idea of buying more tickets for Sydney and Melbourne and could of got second row seats at either show some 20 hours after they went on sale.

I would doubt the full allocation of fan club tickets sold.

Anyway log in for the ticketek presale, on Wednesday at 10.00am and grab some then. Should be no problem.

We had a generous allocation at our own presale to the best seats in the front, in all venues.
Unfortunately the presale info was available very late, and probably many members missed
the presale because of the weekend.

I was wondering will there be any additional dates to those already announced. I am sure Jarkko has said there will be no extra venues.

The schedule seems fairly tight and I am sure the concerts will sell out. But I notice in Sydney for instance the only date available after the 8th November show is the next night, the 9th, as Metallica play Acer Arena on 10 and 11 November, then Len is in Melbourne on the 12th. I note there are no consecutive shows anywhere else on the 2010 tour, so I have my doubts about extra dates.

I have my front row seats for the 8th November in Sydney and have made a decision that this will be my only show of the tour unless I can score front row tickets if a show on the 9th is announced.

Hm... if I said so, I may also have got it wrong, but it remains to be seen... Let's wait patiently what's going to happen!

Now if i hadn't ducked out to get a manicure on Saturday I might have secured front or second rows but......I am over the moon with my 3rd row seats...bring it on :)

My apologies, I am sure I read it somewhere, maybe I dreamt it.

But I agree, patience is needed.

You didn't dream it skipper1967 - Jarrko's comment is hidden away on the previous page:

***No other venues, this is the schedule and these are the venues in AU and NZ. / Jarkko***

But if I've learned anything since this tour began, it is that nothing is certain until all the dates are filled, all the contracts are signed and the tickets are finally on sale. That is the crack through which the light which gave those of us in the UK a slender ray of hope got in.

Not everyone can afford the platinum tickets. The silver tickets went the fastest.

I just did a quick check and there ARE still some limited Gold and/or Silver seats available from the Frontier pre-sale in Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. Bookings close @ 12 noon today (Tues).
