Yes, of course, My Mistreusse.....I'll be happy to escort Witty to BC's office. He really didn't listen to you, did he. I'll put him on the absent mare, if need be.....and just pray he doesn't streak away.

May I have a word with you, again, dear? [You're going to allot Margaret only 30 points on the streaker-TV? When I saw that, I thought, "Now, what are the chances of that!?! The "naked truth" is one thing, but the naked truth served up on a platter of TV programming on streakers? The humour of it alone is worth 30, just for starters! I honestly feel the whole of it is worth 80. Almost as though the universe spoke personally to Margaret and said, "You want the naked truth? Well, here you go ~ the naked truth!" You know how volitional streaking is, and here it seemingly came to her in the very same way. When you think about it, what are the chances!?!. Okay, I'm done.]

Okay, My Mistreusse, I'll see you later.....we sure seem to be getting some high-quality I Spyings here, don't we :D ?

I told you the other day that the headline news here was that the doctors work night and day - so I went to see a doctor today, just to see if it was true. Guess what he did? He gave me acupuncture on my sore back, so I think it would give me points for spying pins in that voodoo doll

He did not write himself a prescription, but he did write one for me with the details of my medication.
My honeymoondays are over long ago, so I can't forget but I don't remember what

May I collect my points for spying Helvens absent mare as a running pony?

And here comes a total point collector: I spyed a pawnshop in Copenhagen today - here we thou spell it "pornshops"

Reporting from DK done - back to duty in the detective bureau - hugs as usual from CIA

Hi Cia ~

Now, right there is a case! Trying to assess points on your latest request would be waaaay too much for me. I vote that we await our esteemed point-assessor's return, and I jump the broom with you and Jo. "Nooobody doesssss it like youuuuu dooooooo........" is what I always say to My Mistreusse. I really think it applies here in the points arena, as well. In fact, we could all take the weekend off, and accrue points in our mind/on paper/wherever it works to keep them, until his return :D . What say??

A horseman I am not. And I am unlikely to do a runner. However I just might silently take flight.

Margaret, was that the tv programme about the National Trust at Studland Bay? The one where the nudists, sorry, naturists staged a protest march in all their glory on the 'textiles' part of the beach? Well spied!

btw I finally got my avalanche this afternoon. The snow on the sloping roof of the porch slid off during a slight thaw, but by that time there wasn't enough of it even to cover up Paula's sole

Linmag,

no it was not the National Trust program but another which was much more detailed  about some of the now famous streakers (male variety) who have become quite obsessive and can't stop doing it at as many public events as possible, so now go around pubs and clubs as well, wearing only their boots to collect money for charity.   and in all weathers too!

As well as in the 'neighbourhood,' by the sounds of it, Linmag.....and such a relatively-small land mass, too. [Shocking, just shocking.]

Sometime within the past couple days, I also read about the man who trekked across England to Edinburgh, wearing only boots, his backpack, and maybe a hat. Took him a number of months, the majority of which were apparently spent in various jails along the way. It seems an innovative response to overcrowding, a way to ensure you get your space. Might not work in N.Y.C., of course, with people just walking around you ~ if they notice you at all :D . However, it seems his was a revolt against oppressive propriety, declaring that his body is who he is. Actually, he made a lot of sense. Not that I want to join him [or that the world wants me to   ], but he did make a lot of sense. We carry such needless shame.

Elizabeth,
Oh, the words of truth are always good to listen to :D - even if it means to learn that you get no points for I spying!

Pete,
 Yeah, 40 points are quite appropriate for such a hard work. Or maybe even 60 or 100. You know, I spent two hours trying to join all my freckles into the one big birthmark but these rascals constantly run about just like ants  ! They don't want to sit together quietly! How did you train your own ones?

Cia,
My mare asked me to post another one of her innumerable avatars. Now the pony runs, indeed! I hope the points are yours now :) .

P.S. Eeehhh, what an unlucky trainer I am! My mares run, my freckles run… Nobody wants to sit…
I've finally found myself! But that turned out to be a completely different person.

I am going to a gathering of friends tonight, as I was going to the shop to get some liquid refreshment for the evening I passed my friends house so I thought I would just pop in to let her know I would be attending, so I guess you could say I left a woman waiting. We had the idea of taking old photographs, weddings and the like so I have been buzy sifting through my photos searching for some of weddings that old families had contrived. Just before I left for the shops my husband asked if I would bring him something to drink, he's stopping in, probably getting lost in that hopeless little screen, anyway I dutifully complied, well I'm not in a very good mood with him so the ciders laced with ACID  A few days ago I spied Leonard Cohen! I was reading a book when the author mentioned a few writers and there he was, surely I should get maximum points for spying the man himself.
I'm feeling a little guilty about that acid now, the boss from his dizzy heights, has just told me that he has made some indian snacks to take to the party

Oh yes, My Mistreusse, I know. I am speaking in The Future with my grand idea......and am listening to the silence on it, which I [of course  ] interpret as implied agreement and consent. Hence, upon your return, I will have a neat stack of I Spyisms for your perusal and assessment. Who says Mistresses can't make good secretaries :D ?

Just a quick comment about the 30 points for the naked truth...

There is so much nakedness on the tv that it isn't difficult to I Spy

That was the basis of the allocation of 30 points.
Now if she had seen a streaker in real life or someone whose clothes had been torn off by the wind then I would agree to the 80 points :)

How about the absolute truth of my time spent on holiday in warmer climes on Naturist beaches? 8) I may have a few discreet photos to prove this if necessary

The first visit was accidental, but it was very important to join in or else get some very disapproving looks. and be classed as a peeping Tom! Those beaches were better and much less crowded than others. Anonymity was also a consideration. No one there knew us from Adam(and Eve!)
