Before you two continue with this reminiscence, I would hastily bring to your attention that you are in the gatherings thread and not in PM. I know, the computer controls get confusing at times, don't they.
Diane ~ you are sooooooooooo thoughtful . I have photos [undeveloped, as yet] of virtually every moment in the wood. Did I mention I'll share them upon request ~ especially with Liz, whose jacket I was wearing ?
In fact ~ now that you mention it, I did ~ one time, here ~ post something on the Forum, when I believed I was PM'ing .
I hope you Guys are designing your badges as we speak
Following consultation, our first game will be Guess the Cohen Fan so badges in pockets - until this is over.
(Following a PM from a Cohenite who shall remain nameless, to spare their blushes - I would just like to say Guess the Cohenite will NOT - I REPEAT NOT be played in the dark with all of us naked )

Does this mean it will be played with the lights on and all of us naked?
Rob.
Two things Rob - firstly if we were naked, wherever would we pin our badges when we finished the game
Secondly, If the lights were on, the blushes of the Cohenite who suggested this form of entertainment would be visable to everybody
Still If you want to put it to the vote....................

Please only read this if your name is Mrs Trellis:
(Dear Mrs Trellis, I wish to aplologise for you for what seems to be a case of mistaken identity. When Ali and I opened your email, the one you posted earlier in the thread, it was dark and we were at some distance from the computer. We thought you were someone else. I hope you will accept my gracious apology. Please, do continue... )
Oh, quite a few people by the name of Trellis, then, nosy parkers !!
Well I never, your middle name is Trellis. Now that's an unusual name, rather nice now I come to think of it. So you're Mrs Trellis. It all makes sense now, about not being able to make the meet, but sending an email. Thanks for setting me straight Lizzy .
Seems like I have made a bit of a cufuffle about who I am. The good news is that the manager of the "sunshine home for older people" has fixed it so I can go to Bristol on the 7th!!!!
Looking forward to seeing you all, especially that lovely Miss Macgraw.
I will have a packet of Kendal cakes for the first person who can identify me in the "spot the cohenite" game.

p.s.
If your going to be naked and doing any of that swinging business i'd rather stay at home thank you.
If we are naked and doing that Swinging thing You better be careful as you may have a Stroke..........................
(if you can move quickly enough to stroke somebody! Is your zimmerframe on wheels dear )

I don't have much time to write on the forum today. But I thought I'd better intervene before this gets out of hand. If anybody has any swinging things about their person, can they please tie them up beforehand.
Thank you,
Diane
(the one who tries to keep the tone from lowering below the basement)
(it's a losing game)
(who'd have thought LC fans would have such dirty minds?)
( )
Dont blame me for this one - It is Mrs Trellis lowering the tone, who'd have thought such a sweet old lady would have refered to such things -
I, (who am pure, both in mind and heart) am shocked and astonished .
Diane, we will have to punish the miscreants by administering a good spanking, publicly, on the night of the 7th
