Leonard looks wonderful on the stage of The Royal Albert Hall surrounded by his minstrels. It also tends to be nice and dry in there! Please, please, please.

I would say Cambridge but I cannot think of a suitable venue round here. Newmarket Racecourse is a great venue for a concert, but again it is open air, far too risky at the time of year. Shame, because nearby is a beautiful hotel which, historically, was a private residence where Lord Byron's half-sister lived, Swynford Paddocks, Byron visited her there. I believe Leonard would enjoy such a place.

According to mnkyface, who just posted this on the Italy thread viewtopic.php?f=44&t=20747#p216988, the Webb sisters say that Leonard will be in Italy in 2010! :D

How exciting! More European dates then, clearly! 8)

Could someone who is into Facebook ask them about England? Pleeeeease!

Ahaaa!!! So it was her! Perhaps you should tell her that she is now a celebrity on one of the Leonard Cohen forum threads; would that be wicked or freaky?

Lucky you though, I have three kids and a husband who all think I am crazy/obsessed about Leonard, so unlike you I am well outnumbered! Whatever I put on, be it Tom Waits or Franz Ferdinand, my five year old immediately asks with a hopeless look on his face: "Oh, is it THAT Leonard Cohen again?" :(

Anyway, thanks for asking her and thanks to your daughter for asking the Webb Sisters. We'll see if we're as lucky as Giuseppe Crisafulli! 8)

Come in Thessaloniki, Greece, in the venue called "Moni Lazaristwn". You came in July 08 in Athens, but it is too far, not all of us could make it there. Let us admire a legend of poetry once again after 17 years.

Leonard, for those of us who had the pleasure of attending that wonderful concert at the Bicentennial Vineyard at Bowral, Australia, please come back. That was an amazing event under the stars for the thousands who were there to witness an historic summer night in February 2009.

I was just wondering if you all think the 2010 World Tour dates are now finalised and set in stone, or whether it might be worth starting to wish out loud again? :D

I understand that nothing will happen before 25 July in Zagreb. There is a reasonable gap after that until the first French gig on 15 September. There will then be 9 concerts in the space of a month. And after that, we know nothing...

That gives us a lot of gaps for dreams! 8)
