If LC is to reach the places people hope/expect him to reach this should be the never-ending-story part 2.
Then, again, there might not be a tour at all.
Then, again, there might but just a mini-tour.
Still the possibility of a tour engendered 19 plus pages of excitement.
That's something.
"Better to travel hopefully........" and all that.

On a more serious note - interesting to read the financial considerations of some forum members when it comes to what we'd like and what we can afford.
LC is not the only one on his uppers!

[quote="Steve Wilcox"]A friend from Moncton, New Brunswick (Atlantic Canada) e-mailed me today to say there's a rumour LC is coming to Moncton. I very much doubted it until I surfed the web and found this cyber news article

http://www.cyberpresse.ca/article/20080 ... 017/CPARTS

Steve

What kind of venues are in the Moncton area? How many seats in the largest ones?

Thanks for sharing your rumors!

Dick,

Moncton has a Coliseum (a.k.a. hockey rink) that, if sold out, seats a little over 10,000, and surprisingly, the sound can be good, especially for quiter shows. Anne Murray is coming soon, Ozzy Osborne was there last month (not a quieter show). Moncton also has a nice refurbished soft seat venue but, without ridiculous ticket prices, it is too small. Halifax has a ~15,000 seat arena. I doubt his entourage would come all the way to Moncton and not play Halifax also, if not only for the gas money.

Again - still rumours at this point but - Leonard's "Maritimes" comment cannot go un-noted!

Steve.

crikey, i am so excited, been logging in every couple of hours since January, and 'waiting for the miracle' as some of you said rather fittingly already.

best valentine gift this year would be to have the news !

(and i am a bit nervous as there are some dates in june where i am committed to hosting an exhibition and other stuff, and i really hope it is not going to cross with any london date - being a bit presumptious here that he will come to london, but i hope so.........)

Regarding the accuracy of Dylan's past Maritime dates - I quote Allen Ginsberg -

"Everybody was blown away by Bob Dylan, except Leonard" (I feel much the same way - so who cares)

We all need to learn a bit of patience. Did not some Star Trek guy (or whoever) say 'sometimes wanting something is better than having it'........and in German we say 'Vorfreude ist die schoenste Freude'.

At least LC picked the shortest month 8)
