Thanks, Jarkko - I would never dream of buying tickets from secondary markets, even if I could afford to. The only way to stop rip-offs of any kind is to boycott them!

And for the promotors and agents to refuse to sell tickets to the touts until much nearer a date of a concert (if at all!!).

Yes, thanks for the head up, jarkko.

John, who knows we might get Brighton then.........or dare I say, the RAH as well ;-)

Hi Vicomte, John - I likewise will wait for more UK dates and see what's out there.

Vicomte - do you rate the Albert Hall? I went last time (having "met" LC's music just after his gigs there in the nineties (thank you, "Later" with Jools Holland) and in all honesty was rather disappointed with the sound quality. Afterwards I saw some comments to the same effect from others.

Like most people, I'd say smaller is more beautiful usually, but the concert I saw in Manchester at the MEN was notable for its atmosphere and top sound quality - a lesson for me that sometimes the large venues can deliver. Of course, nothing touches Manchester Opera House.....

I am still hoping that Brighton will be a venue. It was great last time.

Hi Jeremy,

I have to say I have always liked the sound quality at the RAH. It is a purpose built building for music and perhaps where one sits might alter the sound quality perhaps but having been seated on the flooor, in the wings high and lower and even in a box on the rare occasions (a friends company's debenture) I haven't notoiced a problem with the sound personally. When you have seen several gigs at the Arena Wembley (as was, the old Empire Pool) you got to appreciate the RAH, well I certainly did. ;-)

Hi Jeremy,

I was at MENA in November '08 and unfortunately I couldn't disagree more with you. This is the only LCohen concert I have been to where they searched our bags. When we sat down close to some guys from Ireland they were constantly harrassed by security (who looked like they were fresh out of Strangeways) as they were taking pictures on their phones. The only vibe I felt was feeling threatened - then at the end of the concert the tram service pulled all their trams out of service and we had to walk via an unsavoury area back to our hotel.

No sorry, MENA definitely not for me - even though I'm a northerner ex-pat. Eve

Hi Eve - sorry to hear about that experience. I guess the lesson is always to bear in mind that one person's meat is another's poison....

We had very good seats that day, almost side-on to the stage and Mr C absolutely nailed "Bird." And the sound quality was very good too. Just one of those days!

I hope the UK dates are out soon and you get good tickets. I live in Newcastle and am expecting to travel!

Hi Jeremy,

Yes I know what you mean and I'm hoping to travel for good seats as I'm on the Isle of Wight. Best wishes, Eve

No. I recieved an email a few weeks ago in which they reminded me that my ticket purchase was successful and that I should not ask them about the whereabouts of my tickets, because they will arrive at least two weeks before the concert.

Hello everoyne,

I know I am a bit late, but I would really like to find two very nice seats for this concert to take a special friend there.

Anyone have a tip where to get them? The AEG page hates me and says it's sold out :(

Hi
I have been trying to get in touch with See Tickets by email giving the booking reference from email confirmation but without success. Every time I put the reference I am told that it is not on their database. Has anyone experience that problem?????

I didn't have any problem looking up my two orders on the Seetickets system so it may be worth double checking that you have the right order number - it's all too easy to transpose a couple of numbers, I do it all the time. Do you use more than one e-mail address and, if so, could you have entered the wrong one by mistake? Just a few thoughts. If all else fails, I suggest you contact Seetickets by telephone but your order should be safe if you have an e-mail confirmation.

Hi Wendy
Thanks for input.
I re-typed the reference number several times to make sure I was putting the correct one. Email address is the same one I use for concerts so it's nothing to do with that. I tried calling them and was on hold for so long, had to hang up. Cost a fortune!!! Money has been take. Out of my account the day I booked tickets!!!

I have my tickets yesterday by post for the 02. maybe because I will be in the disabled section this time with my daughter.
I have put them away safely, I hope I don't forget where I put them when June comes around.
