Oh dear, I hope you don't forget your tickets. I have heard from others who in the past have done so and they have had sooo much trouble in getting things sorted out.

I really think that I won't forget, they are in a very safe place.....

Does anyone know from experience when we can expect to get our tickets? I got an email several months ago stating that they would arrive one week before the show. However, I don't know yet if I'll be at home a week before the concert.

This English service is just totally incredible, I've NEVER witnessed this before. Why can't they just send the tickets? After all they got our payment months (!) ago and I payed the fees!

It's not just England; they do it in other countries as well.

They delay sending tickets for "big" shows out to discourage touts by making it harder for people to sell tickets on eBay etc and get them to the purchasers in time for the show.

If you don't think you will be at home when the tickets should arrive, or if you are worried about them being sent out in time, you should get in touch with Seetickets customer service as soon as possible (or Ticketmaster if you bought your tickets from them) and explain the position. They should be able to reassure you or, worse case, make arrangements for you to collect your tickets at the venue. If you do that, they should refund any postage charge on your order. I have always found Seetickets quite helpful in the past, but they may not be able to do anything until nearer the time of the show.

I didn't see it from that perspective. If this really helps against touts, it is actually a good initiative. Just frustrating for people who come from more or less far away.

I sent an email to the customer service and already got an answer. This might interest some of you:

"Unfortunately, we are still awaiting receipt of the tickets from the event organisers. As soon as we've received them we'll dispatch them to you, to the address provided at the time of booking.

If your tickets do not arrive in time or if you prefer, we can arrange for your tickets to be available from the box office on the night of the event.

In order to collect them you would just need to take your reference number and some form of id. The bank card used to purchase the tickets would suffice.

Please let us know no later than 48hours before the event if you would like us to arrange this for you."

Thank you for the helpful information, SeventhSon. With the recent experiences at Wembley I'd prefer to have the tickets in my hands so let's hope box office collection will not be necessary this time.

If you need to send the whole order to a different address you can change the delivery details online with SEE Tickets. I've done this and it seems work fine, though of course we won't really know until they are dispatched.

I changed mine so I pick them up at the venue - although they say they will not be available before 1830 - but at least that is better than not knowing if they would arrive before I set off! Leaving tickets to be delivered until a month or so before is OK but this is, frankly, ridiculous - especially for those of us who live abroad (and paid a small fortune for delivery)! Paul

Finally - I've just received an email from See tickets to say my ticket for 21st June has been despatched!! Here's hoping it arrives safely!
