Unlikely; if someone from outside the forum community knows the password - and by the way, personally, I don't either, because in the end, I decided against going to New York mainly for financial and logistic reasons - it is because someone gave it away! And that would be really MEAN, making nonsense of this whole carefully organised procedure and really be a betrayal to other fans...

No excuse for that if that is what has happened, I would say!
P.S.: Sorry, just learned that the password has not been posted yet; so forget what I have said...

Thank you so much for the reassurance. So then, I can safely assume that the password Manhattan is incorrect and that the boasters are just that, sans tickets?

Hey,
I am new here and dont mean to be a jerk and maybe jarkko can clear this up but it seems that the presale tickets are already sold out and gone.
Yes i was just on another site where 2 guys had guessed the password at noon and said they got tickets. I tried the password and it worked but no tickets available
Was a fast one pulled on everyone?
Wondering?

And yes the password was manhattan. It worked and got through so i doubt the boasters were lying
To quote Ticketmaster:
"The promotion has not begun".

Where do you see that quote from ticketmaster. I am a pretty big concert goer and i know how ticketmaster works. The fact that you can still now get through the fan club thing with that manhattan password and to the ticket search means they did sell tickets already. If manhattan was the wrong password or nothing began yet the system would not even let you in to that.

From past experience, I would sooner believe a Madoff financial statement then Ticketmaster. But I am a fan and believe. Plus folks tend to lie about getting tickets for spite. Horrible Brooklyn Veganites

Like Womanfromaroom, I am unable to justify the time and expense of crossing the Atlantic (because I must support my daughter as she prepares for crucial exams) so am watching your mounting hysteria with unaccustomed detachment! Let me just say that Jarkko is now very experienced in these things and I am confident that his system will work.
My only concern is this: insider-trading. If a password has leaked, I think its most likely source is someone inside TicketMaster with access to the computer-system ... a person, I would guess, who gets bought a lot of drinks by scalpers!

I really wish people would stop posting the password. Those posts aren't disappearing for no reason.
Keep the system fair!

what is not fair is we were told to check back at 1:30 PM EST to get password and to go to ticketmaster at 2pm EST to buy tickets. Looks like tickets and password were available as early as 12:30 EST, maybe earlier
password and tickets available NOW!!! good luck to all

lol... yeah doesn't really matter if the password is available or not because there are no tickets. I've never heard of a 2pm onsale for New York City. It's usually 10am or 12noon. good luck to all on friday

I have 2 tickets on the lower balcony and they look great from the seating chart - Jarkko, you were right to warn us to be prepared on the ticketmaster site with log-ins etc and all I can say is, thank you so much for all your efforts - that other people chose to break ranks early is not your fault, you have kept your promise and for that again, I thank you.

I just used manattan as a password, got this message:
Sorry, no exact matches were found, but other tickets may still be available.
Still hoping a legitimate password will show up before 2PM..
