Alas, I was let down in the Spring by a new member. She offered me a deposit but I said no, that's not necessary; you're a LC fan - I don't want a deposit. Then she reneged on the deal but at least she told me and I was able to resell the ticket in the end.

I do think however she was an exception. My general instinct would be to trust members of this forum with my life (and I mean it).

Much to my astonishment, my husband (of 35 years come Sept 28 - we're celebrating in Barcelona!) has announced that he WILL come with me to LV / SJ, so it looks like the trip is definitely ON. He doesn't particularly like travelling but I think he has been tempted by the enormity of the occasion and a couple of days in San Francisco to recover when it's all over. I'm torn between booking the flights before he changes his mind - and letting my credit card statement date pass before I spend any more money!

Wendy...what wonderful news! I'm sure the enticement of the couple of days unwinding in San Francisco helped (one of my favourite cities in the world!), but it's also special of him to want to share your "passion" with you at the time of your anniversary! Beautiful...I look forward to seeing you again and meeting your husband!

All the best,
Diana

ps..when I suggested "letting them go", I didn't mean permanently

If one did want to sell their original ticket(s),
Thank you, Diana! Just saw this. Couldn't have even got my tickets without your help. :D
