Spikko meglio l'italiano dell'inglese, vero ? :D

A presto, saluti e grazie

Valerio

Ps qualche ( ehm ehm ) anno fa ho collaborato con alcuni veronesi per iL concerto di Joni Mitchell all'Arena, lo scorso anno ero in seconda fila per peter gabriel. Ho amici a Verona, amo l'amarone...Basterà , no ? :!:

Just checked, out of curiosity, what tickets are available. They are still offering 2 tickets, as far forward as row 7. (1930 local time). Unfortunately we will not make it to Verona. For those of you who have not been, you are in for a treat. Its a fantastic venue. The Tipsy Wife and I were lucky enough to see "Carmen" performed there, at the Arena di Verona Opera Festival, in the Summer of '97. A huge stage and stunning acoustics, yet still felt quite intimate. We know you will have a brilliant experience. It is an ideal venue to appreciate Leonard. Hope you all have a great time.

I'll have 3 days between Verona and Paris. Would LOVE to do three in Paris, but $$$ says no! And would LOVE to go to Spain! BUT doing flights separately are MEGA more expensive... like there's a terrorist fee factored in there or something. $750 RT to somewhere I checked in Europe and $3000.00 one way!

Air France was at 243 euros return when I booked mine, I'll just stay in a crappy hotel!
you may want to be careful with Ryanair in Paris, they use an airport which is about 60km from Paris,...

thank you, coolfadda... and i see what you mean, LC&LC... that might make all the difference, unless there's a cheap bus from airport to Paris

Lizzytysh, just check the flight schedule tightly... if it lands before 2.00pm, you'll be fine, Ryanair has a shuttle bus from Beauvais (their airport) and the City, even on a Friday, the ride would take about an hour, but you will want to drop your bag at your hotel etc...
to any of you, please feel free to ask advice about Paris accommodation/transportation etc... I'm a parisienne (but a nice one) well I hope

I have never before seriously considered flying abroad for a concert, but seeing pictures of this Arena started some horrible chain reaction in my brain, and now, thanks to Jarkko and this forum, I think I have the perfect birthday present for my wife (and bankruptcy). Leonard in that setting, 2nd row seats, oh yes, this will be hard to top.
