How much of this talk about attending this concert is serious? As I plan to attend it would be great to meet with you very fine folk who are also planning on going. Also if there is any interest in any of you people making Montreal one of the stops along the way to or from the concert I would be more than happy to host a party.
I hosted one after the Montreal gathering and I think that everyone had a wonderful time. It would be at a place on a lake with canoes and full moons and northern lights and stillness and other stuff.
It is also not out of the question to host the party in Toronto if that would be the preference.
Please let me know if my proposals match with anyone's interest.

I know I'm serious about going. Hotel reservations are made. Will be making plane reservations and buying tickets as soon as possible.
Will arrive in Toronto sometime in the morning/midday of the 1st and leaving sometime on the 3rd. My friend is driving, so according to what her preferences are, I'll be interested if she is... depending on what date you're thinking of.
Not sure about Montreal as another destination, as I need to return to Michigan to visit with my Mom before [hopefully!] going on to Hydra in some kind of way [return to Florida and fly out from here... fly out of Toronto... fly out of Flint or Detroit ~ need to figure what's most cost effective, as my return trip needs to be figured in, as well]. The time elements, in any case, may easily interfere with whatever time frame you have in mind for your informal gathering at your or someone else's house.
I have a feeling that there are enough 'old timers' in the vicinity of this event, though, that you should have no problem garnering interest for a party.

Pete I believe the pre-concert talk will be at the etiquette of pop corn versa peashooter as a method of gaining someone’s attention during said concert.
I myself will come armed to the teeth with elastic bands and ink soaked pellets. I just find with the ink soaked pellets it is a lot easier to see if you have attracted the correct persons attention as of course the problem with both popcorn and peashooter is there is no actual colouring marking. Although of course the trajectory is more true with the peashooter, popcorn being more light weight and prone to amble off in different directions.
It is obviously just a suggestion you take your own weapon of choice obviously myself Pete and Margaret can also make use of water bombs as we are sitting behind you Diane but I suppose with a bit of imagination you could make some sort of Heath Robinson effect pea type shooter with a periscope.
