2 VIP 2nd Row LC tics NYC 5/16 raffle

Post by akdblue »

Hi!
I have two VIP, second row, center, tickets to Leonard Cohen on Saturday, May 16, 2009 that I am raffling off for a $25.00 (or more) donation to benefit Gods Love We Deliver. (An organization that brings healthy home cooked meals to people suffering from serious illnesses here in NYC.) All you have to do is go to their Donate Now page:
http://www.godslovewedeliver.org make your contribution and when asked, "How did you hear about this site?" click on "Leonard Cohen @ Radio City Music Hall." You will be entered automatically in a drawing for the winner which will be held at Fred's Restaurant on Amsterdamn Ave. at W.83rd St. NYC, at 8pm on Thursday, May 14th. The winner will be notified via email based on the information you provide Gods Love We Deliver.
Even if you can't make the show, please help those in need and give what you can.
This is in honor of everyone living with illness and in memory of my brother Mark, who died of AIDS on April 9, 1993.

My friend, colleague and die-hard Leonard fan, Sue, is encouraging me to include these details. I will not bore you with the sordid ex-boyfriend story, of how these tickets came to be charged by him, on my Gold AMX card during their one day pre-sale on March 2, 2009. But I will tell you that these tickets cost $1381.00, which my federal tax refund ended up paying for. Thank you, OBAMA! And in turn, it feels highly rewarding to be able to give these wonderful seats for an utterly breathtaking show (saw him at the Beacon...lucky me!), to another die hard fan, ultimately, to benefit GODS LOVE WE DELIVER.
Please click on the link and give what you are able. Much love, gratitude and luck to you.

Be sure to click on "Leonard Cohen @ Radio City Music Hall" when asked.

Sincerely,
Andrea

Due to the nefarious Ticketmaster policy of withholding the best seats until well after the original on-sale, I have extra sets of tickets to the Merriweather Post Pavillion show on Monday, May 11. I am now selling these tickets at HALF PRICE for a total of $200 even. I can meet in DC proper on Sunday or at the venue on the day of the show to make the trade-off. Please e-mail southbronx777@gmail.com with any questions.

MERRIWEATHER POST PAVILLION (MON., MAY 11)

*Two tickets in LEFT FLOOR Row E at $175/ea. plus fees = $395.60 (FACE VALUE) for the pair. Yours for $200 flat. These are hard tickets that I have in hand right now.

P.S. I would have deleted my earlier message in this thread but couldn't for the life of me figure out how to revise the post...

Hi everyone,

I have 1 very good seat to the May 17th Radio City Show in New York for sale. I was going to go myself, but being I won't be there, I would like to sell it to a fellow fan within the LC forum community.

It is Orchestra 3, Row A, seat 307 and I will be selling it for exactly what I paid through Ticketmaster: $147.00 ($129.50 face value ticket price + $18.00 ticketmaster fees). If you look at the seating chart, it is centrally located, and probably the best of the 2nd tier priced seats.

Please email me if you are interested. I can meet in Manhattan during weekdays for exchange.

All Good Things,
~P

Hi
I live in Santa Barbara and saw LC at one of the LA shows. I really was left speechless and deeply touched in a way that is very special, being a fan since the 60's. (old guy). I figured more of this magic was in order, so I got two good seats to the Red Rocks show for all the obvious reasons. I'm treating my gal Sabina who lives in Ohio and will be flying out for the show. From my carrying on about the show in LA she had bought a ticket to the show in Detroit, got a plane ticket and room just to not miss the chance to see him. Long story short, she would like to sell her ticket to the Detroit show since she's now going to Red Rocks. I'm helping with the post cause she is a teacher and very busy with her college duties right now. The seat is in Sec F-5, row BB, seat 506, which looks to be close to the isle on the seating chart. She is open to any fair offer, and would love for someone to use the ticket. She can easily be reached at, sabinathomas@gmail.com.

great forum, by the way...

Chicago, 5-5-2009, 1 Ticket

Post by epaminondas »

I have one extra ticket for the upcoming Chicago Leonard Cohen Concert: The Chicago Theater, May 5, 2009.

Fairly good seat: orchestra, row H, 313-315. I have two tickets: I keep one, you buy one.

Selling at cost (Ticketmaster plus insurance fee). Ticket is $ 170.28 with Ticketmaster fees included. Insurance fee - I think it was an additional $12, but the paperwork has escaped me. So total will be $170.28 + $12 = $182.28. No higher - maybe lower if I find the insurance paperwork and the insurance was less than $12.

These are pre-sale tickets, so I will have to meet you at the box office. The early meeting time (6:30 PM) looks of interest.

I am also looking for a place to stay overnight in Chicago (nonsmoker, low profile) and parking - I will be driving down from Sheboygan, Wisconsin.

PM or email me if you are interested.

I have two tickets in hand for the May 12 Philly show in the Parquet section (floor) Row R (near the back) pretty much dead center of the row. Cost me $179 each, $378 total. Please make me an offer, any offer. I would appreciate payment by PayPal; then I can FedEx the tickets. Email eniloracd (at) gmail (dot) com. Thank you!

EDIT: Tickets have now been sold (at a slight loss, but at least someone will be happy!). Thanks.

I have 3 balcony seats together for the Tuesday May 5th show in Chicago. Price of tickets is $257.00, will sell for $150.00. I also have 2 main floor seats for the Tuesday show, price of tickets is $306.00, I will sell for $200.00. My name is Judy and I will be in front of the theatre at 6:30 pm in a Green Bay Packer green wind breaker. I recently had a birthday, and these tickets were gifts. But I haven't worked in about a year, and I haven't paid my May mortgage yet. I love Leonard Cohen with all my heart, but I really need the money right now. Can anyone help me out?

Hi, I'm looking for a pair of tickets to either Boston performance. I am a student and a great lover of Leonard Cohen. As such I'm looking for the cheapest possible way to see the man in person. I noticed all the lower-cost seating has been sold out and I don't think I can afford to spring for the higher-priced options.

If any of you has tickets for sale please let me know; either night and any location in the audience would be great.

Thank you very very much!
