Wow we really have been spoiled in england.
The four dates in manchester opera house would definately be the pick of the bunch and i wouldnt have to travel but edinburgh castle would be amazing too.
The O2 arena is so big that most who phoned from the minute they went onsale should get one, but perhaps not the best venue.
And then of course there is Glastonbury!!

I would just like to know (be able to work out) when or if presales for the UK gigs are being announced? If you read what is being said here it does not say that there will be presales for all the venues. Do we even know if the UK venues will have pre-sales? :?

Phoned??? I've looked at the London O2 site, as I'm a Londoner (at least I think it's the official site) but there's no mention of our Len there! (and I agree about it being such a monster venue, shame)

I think we don't yet have presale info, well, I think that's the case, unless I can't find it. I don't see passwords etc anywhere here - are we going to get them, please JARKKO?

I will travel ANYWHERE in the UK, or to Ireland, or near European countries, but I can't find info anywhere yet about how to book. Travelmaster doesn't list Leonard at all at the mo. Jarkko did say no pre-sales info yet - so WHEN??

My quandary now is how long must I stay awake tonight (I have to work tomorrow!) in hopes and fears that the elusive password and/or details of how to book is posted?? Will it be tonight? Tomorrow daytime (while I'm at work)?

Shall I set the meter on my bed so that I can also discover what everybody knows...??

Listening to the Cohen Live CD - love ya, man!

I am sending 1000 thanks to Jarkko who made this announcement, as soon as he could, and gave us this announcement in such a beautiful format. Jarkko worked so hard, and "long prepared for this to happen" and did it all with grace! Now we can all make arrangements to "[hear] [y]our Master sing" or if you prefer, "slip into the Masterpiece." Jarrko put up with all of our questions and if anyone asked how he did it, I bet he'd say "I can't complain."

I also thank him for giving us all the the helpful links to help us "[come] so far for beauty. " We now can have the "simplicities of pleasure" and get to our destination, despite having perhaps for some "miles to drive" and [if we had other] "promises to keep, we'll ditch it all to [see LC]"...
" Dance me to" the "exquisite music" "radiant beyond your widest measure" ---- we can all soon have the "honor of [Leonard's] evening" This is what Jarkko worked so hard for and did for us.
We should all be grateful to Jarkko and it was certainly worth "waiting for the miracle to come."

Thank you so much Jarkko !!

Thanks Jarkko, we are spoilt here in the UK but what about you, where will you see him, no mention of Finland in the list so far?

Anyone know what the Manchester Opera House is like and how many does it hold?
It would have to be my choice of UK dates and as Leonard is doing 4 nights let's hope that everyone who wants a ticket can get one :D

Thanks a lot Jarkko ! I'm very happy to see the Leonard's show in France (Nice) in July :D ! If I manage to get a ticket (and I'm sure I will...), it will be my first time seeing M. Cohen and I can't wait...

Wow! I'm so happy he'll be visiting Amsterdam (or Holland for that matter). Can't wait to have the tickets in my hands, so I can be sure I can see him. Only never heard of Westerdam as venue ... the only thing I know it's a ship :P.

    And thanks Jarkko!

The Opera House is a beautiful old theatre so the perfect place to see Leonard's music performed. It doesn't hold much more than 2000 at a guess so will be pretty difficult to get tickets for I expect. The top level balcony is very steep too if you don't like heights (as I found out!)

Hope to see you there, if we can get tickets anyway - I'll be stood outside listening through the wall if not!
