Many thanks. Looking at the logistics of wheelchair access to hotels, theatre, taxis etc I'll probably confine myself to whatever the theatre bar has to offer (Which includes ice cream apparently :D ).

I'll pass on your pub recommendations to brother-in-law, who is accompanying me to Manchester but is sadly unconverted to the wonders of LC, and hence banned (by me) from taking up a seat!

Roll on Thursday 19th!!

Casino closed in the early eighties, then the building was damaged by a fire soon after and demolished

Sorry about the shopping joke, so the casino is gone! another piece of history gone, it was such a good soul venue in fact it was the only good one in England.
