TomD's timing and scope for the prospective next leg of the tour are not accurate, and the decisions have not yet been made.

I can't reveal my source, but I have extremely credible information that -
1 LC has signed (within past week?) to tour Australia in early 2009 - around end of Jan, beginning of Feb
2 Paul Kelly has eagerly signed as support
3 It will be a 3 hour show with LC and Paul onstage throughout
4 Melbourne & Sydney for sure, not sure of other gigs. Have no info about venues.

I'm postponing my planned overseas trip!

I have never heard of Paul Kelly, but he seemed VERY INTERESTING, the video found in the link. Streight, Simple and Soulful. I liked! Hope you enjoy the concerts as much as we did!!

I hope that You will get Leonard to Australia. In Copenhagen we got acquainted with an australian couple! They came to Denmark to listen to the concert!! Wau! They had to fly very far away ! And they did!! I really hope that Leonard will make his tour to Aurstralia, but still as Jarkko wishes, let's wait patiently. (By the way, we hope him to come back to Finland!!)

Hey!. ..Jarkko..Ive had my head in my books and other stressful places since getting back from Lisbon, have not been here for a while....wahoo!!! so ..whats that old song..."perhaps, perhaps, perhaps".....so perhaps he will find himself ending it all with a nice little holiday in little old NZ?? ....I would not believe my luck to see him again....Oh well ....and Aucklander..I'd certainly fly up there too... fingers crossed eh....oh "He's my Man" if he does it.. ....(he he and still is if he doesnt get here too)...

Regarding Aussies travelling, I guess it's sometimes the way it has to be, if we are to achieve various important goals without "missing the boat". I also have a friend in Brisbane who flew to Toronto just to see Leonard perform and was more than happy to do so! There are others of us too who have done similar trips, but padded them out a bit more!
