Konzerthaus website seems to show that the show is finally sold out. Let's wait and see if they add another date there or if we get more news about Ljubljana ... which I hope for as I promised my 11 year old son he could go to that one if it happens!

I bought my tickets last night on the konzarthaus website. I got two seats next to each other for less then 150 Euros each and I think it was quit a good deal.

People complaining about the prices have to realize that the concert hall in Vienna is likely the best venue in the world to see Leonard play.

I saw from another poster that the tickets are now gone so I am very happy that I bought mine last night. I was slow but all the seats in the concert hall are good seats.

I only had one ticket from the first tour but that show was cancelled and I was worried I had missed my chance to see Leonard.

As a Canadian living in Vienna. I am one happy guy.

I'm sorry to be so ignorant of computer technology, but I got on the Konzerthaus.ak website to see what was available and was not able to find a way to convert it to English. After having seen the show in Kitchner and both nights in Hamilton - to be able to see Mr. Cohen 'in a concert hall in Vienna' would be worth every penny (there goes more money set aside for retirement) but only if I could figure out how to get the tickets - whether for the 24th or in anticipation for an additional date being added on. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Mary

One more thing. Vienna will be awesome and wish we could be there. Salzburg however is a second home to us and if ever Leonard appears in Salzburg I will swim the Atlantic and hitch-hike across the country to be there! Every moment would be worth it!

Hi Ladydi,
I have my private hypothesis re 'Leonard Cohen cult': his lyrics connect with universal human emotions on a deep level, this and the way LC sings (very low voice, slowly, a lot of repetitions) induces kind of hypnotic trance in his fans - not in all, mostly in those who are susceptible to hypnosis.

...having said that I suspect it may as well be just a simple magic :D ...

MaryB, I used German version of their website, it wan't that difficult. I'm afraid the tickets are gone as of now though, the last time I checked there was just one left (you may try later, maybe more ticket will be released).

To all of you complaining about the price: Leonard was never a cheap whore and he's worth every cent. In fact I'm glad that the Konzerthaus is rather small so that Richard and I can enjoy Leonard without the ordinary crowd.

No hard feelings
Wolfgang

Hi Mirka and Steve!
Thanks for your replies. Mirka, I will continue to check the 24th to see if I can get tickets (along with the 'buy, sell, swap' on this forum. Steve, your link was a blessing -navigating in English was sooo much easier - thank you so very much! I went through the process and it rejected my credit card so I entered another credit card and I thought it took it but it never seemed to finalize and then the whole thing just dissappeared (is crashed the right word for this?). I got back on that website and the seats I had chosen were no longer available. Do I assume that my transaction went through because a number of hours later I still have no confirming e-mail and my credit card has not been charged. Any help on this will be so greatly appreciated!!!!
Mary

Hi everyone!
Please ignore my last post. Just checked my e-mail again and got my confirmation for the 25th. Yipeeeeee! Now to work on the 24th. Couldn't have done it without your help Steve. If you're going to be there, I definitely owe you a drink. Wow, LC again and Europe in one swoop!
Thanks again to all for the info and help,
Mary

Does anyone have any ideas about what hotel the band may be staying in? Which hotel is closest to the Konzerthaus? Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you,
Mary

The closest hotel is the Intercontinental, which is literally one minute's walk away. It's the place where G Bush stayed when he came here. So I suppose it's quite likely the band will stay there.
