I am livid about September Cohen's latest post. It should be removed. I don't know why women have to put up with this sort of thing in the name of free speech. I will be very disappointed in you if you do not take appropriate action. If you do not do anything about this I can only assume that you think this garbage is o.k.

I agree, Songster. The integrity of this site suffers with this lewd post left standing.

This kind of porn-styled post comes from someone who thinks poorly of himself, seriously lacking self-esteem. It says and reveals far more about him than anyone to whom it's directed. His feelings of disempowerment become increasingly more evident and visible. However, it remains an affront to decent sensibilities, both male and female.

There is also a huge and significant difference between "My views aren't contingent upon Jarkko's" and "(p.s. really don't mind about jarkko's opinion too)." The graphic and recent words sum up the latter. More specifically, thinking independently is not the same as blatant, intentional disregard of others, and disrespect for the site and its administrator. I have always been amused with your ramblings in the past. But you are dead wrong this time. The picture is not amusing. The post is specifically addressed to Lizzytysh and the picture is merely there to denigrate her. That's the way its done by the unimaginative, you know. Make your opponent appear ridiculous by porning it up.

Songster and Lizzytsh, I am in total agreement. This type of thread will only attract more garbage. That is not what this web site needs.

I didn't realize this before, because I thought your postings were amusing, but now I realize you are an opportunist. You looked at a posting that you knew is repugnant, and saw in it an opportunity to attack someone you've attacked before.

When art or speech is derogatory and meant to be mean, petty and nasty it moves out of the realm of freedom of expression and becomes an infringement on human rights.

The one who calls himself "September Cohen" has moved beyond the boundaries of freedom of expression and has forced his crass and vulgar obscenities on the members of this forum. To a large extent I think we're all rather eccentric and we all have strong opinions (well - most of us anyway) and we've gotten into some sticky situations in the past, but this is not the place to manifest behavioural aberrations that belong, if anywhere, in a psychotherapist's private rooms. The line between acceptable and not acceptable public behaviour has been crossed here.

There's an infectious disease spreading in this forum and in the chatroom. I remember a time when whatever-he-wants-to-call-himself-now, had humour, albeit black and not to everyone's taste, but he could nevertheless be amusing. That time is long past - he's moved onto new levels of self-indulgence and pig-headedness, and lost his humour to boot.

And at the mention of a lack of humour I have to add that I find it rather intriguing that someone I have personally seen to have repeatedly in the past extricated herself from arguments, begun by her, by advocating that "the chatroom is not the place" to discuss that particular subject, now appears to advocate the opposite for this forum.

I am unceasingly amazed at the human spirit's ability to change direction with what may appear to be the prevailing wind.

I am reminded of a Camus quote that I've always been particularly fond of: It is certain my conviction gains infinitely the moment another soul will believe in it.

It's always difficult to decide when to take action or just let it be.
The definition of bad taste is dependent on the person, the
culture, the surrounding area and so on. In this case I don't see any reason why we should have that kind of stuff on the site. So I removed it.

Maybe it was not Jos Deschêne after all, but Phil Spector.

Jarkko, "that kind of stuff" was obviously an obscenity, not just "bad taste". It would have been an obscenity in any cultures, background etc. It was meant to be.

For example, the Aztecs, terrible warriors, raped men of the village when they did not pay the taxes to the empire. Ay! I say this as an information to this discussion, I do not have any intention to go on some war of some sort They where so hatred, that it was not difficult for Spaniard to find volonteers to fight againts them.

Under cover obscenities could run for looooong long time, however. Unfortunately. Better "strategies" than obvious obscenity have to be found to unpollute human relationships.

Good work, Jarkko. Lizzytysh and I have had some smack-downs...I don't think we agree on much of anything. But I've always hated that kind of garbage...it doesn't matter who it's directed at...friend or foe...it doesn't belong here.

September_Cohen I hope for you that you do not think what you have said about the picture. This is not sex, it is violence. Sex is Joy or is not. I wish you only the best in this matter.

You know anyway that this picture was too much and will be removed and the point that you meant will stay. But what do you mean exactly? Be more specific and forget a little bit about the explosions.

I have all my time today, maybe it is not to me to tell you this, but I seriously think that you both, you Sept. - and you Lizzy are wasting your gifts here on this board, Lizzy by posting too much (you should write you bio instead and I am not kidding) and Sept. by attacking her like a barbarian as the icone of this weird generation that victimize your generation - some of your argumentations are very true, however, and worth the effort of being tell properly.
