Loved all of your videos from Florence Al. What a combination Leonard and Florence. Who could ask for anything nicer than that. He is truly a Legend.

Thank you

.....and so will I, because of your wonderful videos :D

I think that Waiting For The Miracle is the best video you have ever recorded and it is the best ever performance of it by Leonard.
Such a combination is unbeatable. Thank you so very much. I absolutely loved it. :D :D

Thank you so much for all these wonderful videos, Albert. I'm so glad you were at the Florence concert - I was there and it was the perfect finale to a wonderful holiday in Tuscany, so it's just so good to see your videos and re-live it all. I did actually video Born in Chains, and was reasonably pleased with the result - we were in row 4 so we had a pretty good position - I tried to upload it to YouTube, but for some reason the upload failed. But yours is miles better!! Thank you!

Thanks, Wendy, for the fabulous pictures! I love their casual looks (well, except Leonard, but I love him anyway :D). Sharon looks adorably dishevelled and Rafael is yummy :)
How long was the soundcheck?

Hi Eva

The soundcheck in Florence was quite short - about 45 minutes or maybe a bit less. It started quite early, just after 3.30 pm I think (I missed the beginning). I gather they started with Tower of Song then ran through shortened versions of the first few songs of the set. They soundchecked The Darkness and Ain't No Cure For Love even though they were not included in the set that evening. They did not soundcheck Born in Chains (which was performed in the evening) or Feels So Good.

We planned to arrive half past 4 to St. Margarethen but decided to go even earlier (half past 3) :D

Great photos Wendy! Loved how they were sequenced...one really feels the flow of soundcheck. Everyone looks so relaxed. Sharon cool in her shades....and a little bit extra of Dino than we normally see ;-)

Thanks,
Diana

VULCAN SALUTE (like in Venice, but longer)

A question to the Florence people: who realized or recognized the VULCAN SALUTE during
THE FUTURE in Florence ? Anybody has a registration or found a you tube vision of it?

Andrea

A.
We knew beforehand it would be an exquisite night and indeed, short or not, it seemed to have been beyond stellar.
Florence was the city where I fell in love with Italy, many years ago and I have great memories from the time I spent there.
Piazza Santa Croce was a place I walked through almost daily, so watching the vids, I could feel it, not only hear it.

Thanks everyone for their beautiful words and thanks much Master Albert, your Florence experience is well conveyed in your vids - each and every one is pure magic, where the beauty of the place resonates in the lyrics and tunes. - I appreciate it more than words can say.
Your photos are just as great (I posted a little story on one of your Ponte Vecchio photo comments)

Greeting from tel Aviv,
