I am new to this forum -- I found out about it by reading the new biography by Sylvie Simmons; it is a wonderful trip and very insightful. It included this URL so here I am.

I am a long-time fan, having bought "Songs of Leonard Cohen" in December 1967 when it came out. I was 16 at the time and was just blown away by it. I had beeen introduced to his songs by Judy Collins, but this was just mind-blowing music and lyrics, perfect for an angst-filled self-absorbed teenager to wallow in. Eventually the wallowing stops of course but the musical trip continues, and today I still cannot get enough of Leonard. Saw his mind-blowing concert at the Beacon in 2009 and literally cried at times from the beauty, the passion, and the wonderous Mr. Cohen.

Hello Everyone,

I'm new to the forum... I've always known some songs of Leonard Cohen since as long as I can remember but I was recently introduced to more by a friend. And well, I'm quite fond of many of his songs now, have read one of his biographies and will try reading his poetry/writing next. I'll be attending his concert in Toronto, in December, too! wheeeee!! :D

Welcome JudyJudyJudy,
This is a great forum. That's great you'll be seeing Leonard in Toronto. I will finally get to see him for first time in Austin.

Halloo Everybody, I am new in this Forum but have listened to Leonard for almost 1 year. Until then I was an avid classical music enjoyer, now I listen to Leonard Cohen day and night. I l ive in Edmonton/Alberta Canada, but I am Italian, so I went to Verona, to see Leonard at the beautiful Roman Arena. Then I saw him in Paris and now I can't wait to go to Rexall Hall, in Edmonton, where I live close to my son and family.

I am so glad to have made contact with the Forum and to be able to ask some questions. Hopefully somebody, will be able to help me. I have written a very discreet but private e-mail to Leonard, and I would like him to receive it directly without to go through other peoples hands, is it possible to get such an e-mail address ? THank you very much. With kind and warm regards, Silvia Colorni.

Welcome to the Forum, Silvia.
Wishing we'd met, as I was at the Verona and Paris concerts [the one on the 30th], as well.
Unfortunately, what you understandably request, a private audience with Leonard via email, is simply not possible.
For all of us to make any contact at all electronically, this is the only path [from Jarkko, the administrator of this site]:
All correspondence should be addressed to his managers, Mr. Robert Kory, at rkory@rkmgment.com, for management matters, or to Mrs. Michelle Rice at mrice@koryrice.com, for legal matters.
Mailing address for all correspondence:

Kory & Rice, LLP
9300 Wilshire Blvd.
Suite 200
Beverly Hills,CA 90212
USA
It's the only way it can be, Silvia, as so many around the world want so much to be in private contact with Leonard.

Meanwhile, please make yourself at home here and enjoy this great forum, which celebrates all things Leonard.

Hi! I am hoping that someone has a legit mailing address for Leonard Cohen fan mail. My 7 year old daughter has written him a letter and I would like to either mail or scan and email it to him, or someone who filters his fan mail.

Can anyone help me? It is very important to my daughter (and myself).

Thank you kindly in advance.

Hello!
I am happy to join your forum having frequented it (as invited) during several years.
It is thanks to you all that I was able to share my passion for Léonard Cohen and its remarkable work.
Your invaluable information allowed me to attend some of its concerts in 2010 and 2012 (Lille, Gand et Paris) and I deeply thank you for it.
Unfortunately I don't speak english (I regret it). Consequently, Reverso will be my interpreter.

I hope that you go to understand me so that I dare to post on the forum and to exchange with you.

Welcome, quetzalcoatl80. If Reverso is an automated program, it appears to be an excellent one! Far better than most results I've seen through similar ones! I'm happy you were able to join us here and that you've had the privilege of seeing Leonard perform live. It's been a dream come true for so many of us! Hope to see you continue participating here :D !

I discovered this forum today by accident - amazing to see so many active LC fans in this wide world! My real name is Suzanne, and I grew up in the '60's, believing Suzanne was written for me, because that's what my mom always said.
I am seeing Leonard Cohen in Austin on Halloween night, and it is a dream come true for me.
