Sorry that it is taking me so long to post on YouTube the alternate/edited version of the 2008 Rock Hall ceremony with different footage of audience reactions to Leonard Cohen. I'm getting there. Maybe someone will beat me to it.

Linda scanned/photographed all the Cohen contents -- here is the cd package, and pages from the program booklet. As you can see, there were congratulations ads as well as the Rock Hall article in the booklet. We did not want to break the binding so they are less than perfect, but the best we could get.

For Leonard, Suzanne and Tower of Song are studio versions, Dance Me is from Cohen Live, the Toronto performance.

The Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame Museum in Cleveland is adding a library, which will be completed in 2010.

I found pictures of Leonard Cohen from the 1991 Canadian music hall of fame and added them.
I posted the front and back covers of the 2008 Rock Hall program, plus the Best Buy and Rock Hall Banners.

The last thing I need is a photo of Leonard Cohen from the 1991 Order of Canada. There is absolutely nothing on the web right now.

Inductees into Canada's Walk of Fame for 2008 will be announced in late May or early June.

These are directly from the Halls of Fame websites, if you check the links they don't provide the names of the people who compiled and wrote the bios. These bios are not copyrighted. But the rock hall provides a bibliography.


The Canadian Songwriters Hall of Fame has updated their site. Each inductee now has their own page.

Unlike other halls of fame, the Rock And Roll Hall of Fame updates its inductees biographies as time goes by. They don't change anything, they just add an extra paragraph or two at the end when more important events occur in the artists careers and when the artists die. They also update the timeline. We'll have to wait and see what happens.
