I've received a ticket for Oberhausen, so I think it is for sure.
You might want to try Copenhagen as well, which is easy to reach and the show is not sold out yet.

The date for Munich is 7th october on the tour list on http://www.leonardcohen.com, but when buying tickets on eventim.de, it says that the concert takes place on the 6th october?

Also some lists on this form say 7th october, and other say 6th?!

Which is the right date?

Yeah - it's a great mysterium with the Munich date, some say 6 some say 7. Officials of this forum recommend Berlin October 4 because it is fixed and there's also no doubt that there will be a great party around.

At Ticketmaster you still find Stalls tickets Row 2 Block B to the right.

I can't seem to load the seating plans for Berlin, have tried a few sites but all I get is a white box with a little red X in the corner.
Anyway, a member is hopefully buying a couple of my tickets for the 4th from me and we were wondering which seats would be best for her to take. The area is A Links, Row 5 and the ticket numbers are 5-10. From reading the rest of this thread it seems the numbering starts at the stage end and works up the row. Can anyone confirm if this is true and how many seats are in a row.

Thanks

Leax - if seating plan doesn't show up you probably haven't installed the Java Plugin. But Eventim or Ticketmaster wouldn't show your seats because the Block A Links is sold out and blocked literally. But I can tell you that you have perfect seats and if you are trying to sell some of yours to forum members they will be very lucky.

Thanks Henning, I installed a plug-in linked from one of the sites but probably have to reboot for it to work. Makes sense what you say about the seats being blocked off anyway though. Thanks!

From what I remember in the side blocks Links und rechts (!!!) there are 12 seats .. I think that seat 10 is, therefore, nearest the middle but none of us were completely sure precisely because, as Henning says, you can no longer see that section seat by seat as it is sold out.

Hi Maurice,

I am not too familiar with Oberhausen, but I think we should be able to organise a nice meetup before or after the concert or even both! We'll see, some time left to get things going...

The "Köpi"-Arena in Oberhausen is next to the "Centro", one of the biggest shopping malls of Germany ... There are a lot of pubs, restaurants and cafés for a meetup before an after the concert. And in Oberhausen, parking is for free at the arena ...

You can also climb the Gasometer, it's a nice view over the Ruhrgebiet ...

Stehste aufm Gasometer im Sturmesbrausen
alle watte siehst, is Oberhausen ....

I have never been to Germany, so really excited about seeing Berlin. If there are any meetups over the weekend , please post the directions and names of pubs on here. I wonder if the German audience wiill be a lot different to the Irish one :D

Tinderella, I will open a Berlin meetup thread in about 2 weeks. Plans and ideas are already circulating on my mind. Thanks for being patient.

Haven't been there before, but it should be not too difficult to arrange such a meet-up. Sounds fine with me...
