Although the event was only 8 weeks ago it feels like much longer. Watching these photo’s again make you realize what a great time we had there in Montreal! Thanks for posting!

Loved the CBC broadcast tonight - cried and laughed through much of it - it came across really well but of course much was left out. Especially would have loved to see Sharon Robinson's take on I'M YOUR MAN - its it was fantastic at the time. I know LC must be very proud of his son - so glad I was able to be there in Montreal and to relive it at home again tonight. I hope the whole show ends up on DVD or in some form available to all of us!
I also hope 2018 is good to all of us!

I especially went home from work during lunch hour to get the download started. When I am home tonight it should be finished. Can’t wait to watch it!
Thanks for sharing!

It is so brilliant to watch the show again. I can’t thank bernardfincher enough for making this already available for us

. Also the work in editing for all the commercials breaks is very much appreciated!

Thank you so much, Bernard!
Especially because you let me hear this fantastic new version of Book of Longing you can listen to at the end of the video.
Book of Longing (the poem, I mean) is probably one of the things he wrote I like the most. I've been always so sad it never became a song.
Apparently I was wrong: in the end he nailed it.
The song has a greeeeeat arrangement and he added some new lines ("the things I could not be / My heart will be heard") while changing some others ("what no one has done / she'll continue to do" became "what I've left undone / she will certainly do").
And I like it so much.
I hope the song will be released.
If Patience is the first P. word, the second one is Pleeeeeease!
And if it will never be released (third P. word: Pity!), well, it will be enough just to know he did something so marvellous.
Thank you everyone!
G.

I was so confusing at first when heard this song in Finale part. I even played the Philip Glass version 'I can't make the hills' again to check if I was dreaming about a new arrangement of this great poem. Then I saw your post and my P says Stay Tuned.
