its the best news that the real devotees will get the chance to get tickets first. I would go anywhere in the world for a front row ticket. THANK YOU FOR THIS. :D :D :D

Is it interesting (strange?) we have news that rehearsals are going well but no details on background vocalists.

Maybe Leonard has a dilemma. Maybe Anjani, Jennifer, Sharon, Perla, and Julie all want in!!

Yes, their chemistry was unquestionable, FriscoGrl... a simmering burn, if you will. Spontaneous combustion. Explosive... in its subtle, understated way.

I'll look forward to this as last time I saw him live it was awful. The Kings Hall at Belle Vue in Manchester, UK - a circus venue. It was raining (including on the stage), Leonard came on, said "what a barn!" and never really got going!

You are right about places like Glastonbury they charge an arm and leg for the pleasure of sitting in a mud soaked field with poor access and crap (if you pardon the pun) toilets.
Oh, the toilets are nothing near as bad as they used to be, or as they are rumoured to be. Worthy Farm, at festival time, is one of my favourite places in the world.

(I'm just worried that *if* we get tickets - never a given - and *if* L Cohen is there, and *if* he is not playing until Sunday night (like the rumours have it), then I will spend from tents-up on Wednesday wishing for Sunday evening to arrive. That would be a terrible waste of my favourite weekend of the year.)

Have been spending a lot of time looking at clips of previous tours. Looking forward (hopefully) to seeing Leonard Cohen on this tour. It's great to see someone from my generation still being discovered and appreciated by new fans while receiving such heartfelt support from his fans of many years.

just seen the BRILLIANT news......00.01 european time is gonna be midday here down under....lunch time infact!!!! tho might have to check the daylight saving thing and negotiate workplace firewalls and all that crap...life is SOOO complicated....but who cares?I was about 16 when I first heard 'suzanne' playing out across the fields from a window. It stopped me in my tracks and from then on began a musical love affair that has lasted for years. I am so thrilled that I might actually get to see the man himself live, that the frsutration of cyber-purchase wont prevent me from trying even if I have to take the afternoon off!! Thank you Jarkko..wouldnt stand much chance of getting a ticket down here any other way I suspect.

sickeningly grateful fan from new zild waiting impatiently!!!!!
xx
ps someone asked why its 27? I suspect the song wouldnt work with seventeen, and 37 is simply too many...!! But I may be wrong...so droll eh!

ticketmaster.ie have leonard cohen tickets going on sale on 14th march but no details, so i don't know if it's north or south or both.

how very odd i looked up ticketmaster.ie on another computer and leonard is not there, but he is on mine, so I will believe that he will play belfast. mmmmmm
