Strange indeed, here I sit Listening to Songs from a Room on a whim I decide to look up some Leonard Cohen images and low and behold I stumble upon the tour 08 announcement, right now I'm very glad to live in Canada
living in Montreal in the late 70's I remember seeing a one man play on the works of Mr. Cohen, loved the words and music ever since.
May the ticket gods be with me! (and everyone else for that matter
Vauxhall: please note that there will be no US dates for the Spring/Summer tour. What happens after that, remains to be seen. I guess there are plans, but the decision will depend on how the summer leg of the tour goes! - However, I have to underline that I don't have any information about the US plans!
Long term reader of the site here but I finally decided to sign up and get involved in all of the tour excitement! Being a younger Leonard fan (I'm a spritely 20 years old) I didn't think I would get the chance to see him perform so the announcement of the tour is a very pleasant surprise indeed! I only hope I can get tickets....

Thank you for clarifying, Jarkko. Guess I'll be finding myself in Canada this spring.
I'm so excited that Leonard Cohen is touring again. My husband and I were fortunate to see him in NYC in 1993. My husband went to the concert as a favor to me; he left as a fan. I had given up hope that LC would tour again, so this is wonderful news. I hope we can get tickets.
I saw Len at the Albert Hall in 1993 and have been a fan for about 40 years. I've only just joined this site so I hope that I won't be penalised when it comes to ticket allocations. I'm not a 'computer' person and I expect a lot of his fans aren't either so I do hope we get a chance of purchasing tickets.
I'm 21 and have had LC played to me by my dad since I was born but I only started listening to him on my own a couple of years ago but I'm very into him as well these days. I really hope that we are able to get tickets, for my dad especially as he's a die hard fan, he even had Leonard played at his wedding much to my mam's annoyance! It'd be great if the tour comes this far north, but I'd be willing to travel as I'd hate to miss this great opportunity, I never thought I'd ever get a chance to see LC live.
I was lucky enough to see Leonard when he appeared at the at the Town Hall and the Odean twice in Birmingham in the 1970s. I was never able to get to any of his London concerts. My present partner who really rates him has never seen him live. I never believed that he would tour again now. I'll travel anywhere in the UK to see him again. He is just so amazing.
Good news that Leonard will be in England again looking forward to seeing him its been too long since I last saw him at the Albert Hall so come the tour first take Glastonbury then take London. I 'm your man

Hello everyone! I have been watching and reading this forum for a long time but it is my first time posting..It feels weird.
Can't wait to see Leonard Cohen, it is the chance of a lifetime. For all the fans living in Eire, it has been confirmed that Lenny will be playing in Dublin in June in the Royal Hospital in Kilmainham. Date is to be confirmed shortly! See you all there!
