Got my ticket online today, half the price of Germany. Good hotel right on the venue complex. Cheap flight. Looking forward to Oct. :D

Which Hotel? I'm staying in the Angelo Katowice. I could have got a really cheap ticket but for my first foreign trip and a trip to see Leonard I wanted the best so got the top level price which worked out almost the same as I paid for the Lissadell concert.

I'm staying at the Angelo as well. I was planning to stay at the Qubus but the reviews of the newly opened Angelo are excellent - and it's a lot cheaper too!

See you there!

Nice one! Yeah I was very impressed with the reviews and photos (and price) and how close it is to Spodek!

Alas, as I (happily) used up all my savings for tickets, I can't afford to stay there :).
I'm staying at the Etap Hotel Katowice Centrum which is one of the Accor Hotels Chain.
It seems to be 10 minutes walk from the venue but just the opposite direction :(
How about a pre-concert meet-up somewhere?
I will arrive to Katowice early in the morning.

I will be in Katowice early too. Staying in Krakow the night before and then bussing it to Katowice Monday morning. Would be great to meet up as I'm travelling alone! First time out of Ireland and I travel alone. Yes I am crazy but like Leonard says "like you would do for the one you love"

Well, I'm an experienced traveller but just like you, travelling alone. None of my friends are crazy enough to take the night train to Poland with me (again, as I was there in August attending the LC Event :) )

Staying in the Angelo too, very reasonable rate. Just a 24hr 'jolly' for me, out monday back tuesday. I did a similar thing in 2008 for the O2 Berlin, and that was fun. :D

Hello jeremek,

what, the beautiful little reminder, I can wait no . Can you tell me what the weather will probably be in Katowice. I suppose it will be necessary to longer take warmer winter jacket. Thank you.

All good,

All good,

Hello !!! :D

...just a little too early to write about the weather. Even in my town is very variably. The day before yesterday "was summer" (temperature 25 C, sun). Today is "the autumn" (temperature 15 C, rain). One thing is certain, that they will be big differences in temperature. Morning and evening will definitely be cold during , the day moderately (10-16 C). But who knows ? Maybe we will surprise a sudden winter ?

Always the best and safest option is a multi-layered (like an onion) :D

Leonka, greet you warmly and wish you and warmest weather. In our hearts will certainly fire, right ?

See you !

P.S. Leonka, sorry if you were in Krakow ?

Hi,
We are going to arrive in Katowice LEON together with the car. We'll go from Bruntal in the Czech Republic, so we do not have much. It is not know if you hit the bottom of the hall ...
