Got my tickets and now I'm happy. Doesn't matter if 1st row is way too overpriced. I'm happy with 4th row. I just want to be there, see Mr. Cohen and hear Mr. Cohen. Is it July yet?

I am verry happy with my parterre 1 / row 3 tickets. Anything else (295,-) is crazy, the result is, that some tickets for this price are still available (orchester - row 2 oder 3). Seems if very few would pay additional 178,- for food+bev. VIP

Ha, finally it works: 2 Places, third row! But the Price are way to... is more, than we pay for the Flight for 2 Persons, mor for the Hotel for 5 Nights...But it is for Leonard!
And when I talk about a Leonard-Cohen-Concert, then: it is worth it for me!
Every single Euro, that I have spend for the Tickets...
But really, Vienna is the "Record-Holder"...
But it's a "late" Birthday-Gift for myself, I was getting 50 last December, and my Wife will getting +10 Years then me at the 30th of July this Years.. so this ar our "Birthday-Presents".
So I hope to see some of the People that I have met at the Verona-Concert last September.... Would be great, to see you all again!
I'm so exited!!

Last time (in 2010) first row center tickets costed about 140 eur in Austria (Salzburg, Graz, St. Margarethen). Not cheap but not extremely high. This 300 eur is quite the shock. Probably they realized how much the touts can ask for the best tickets on ebay and decided to keep that profit for themself. Still, I'm quite happy with my 3rd row side ticket for 117 eur (even though i had to pay a lot for delivery, but that would be the same for any tickets), now I just have to work out how to get there

Wow, I am Happy! 2. row (Parterre Orchester), seat nr.5, for 117 Euro. It is on side, but still very good and since I was not considering the most expensive ones, I think I got a very good one. See you all there! My first Leonard show, I can't wait!

just to make that clear:
"Parterre 1. Parkett" has 12 rows of orchestra before it
so 1st row Parterre 1. Parkett is really 13th row

Thats' true for Burgenland and Salzburg, but Vienna in 2008 as far I recall was also more than 200 Euros so I dropped the idea to go back then...

In 2008, at least they had an excuse: The Konzerthaus only had a capacity of about 1700 seats.

No, Konzerthaustickets in 2008 were well below 200 euros (139 or 169). Seemed pretty steep even so.
[EDIT: Maybe I'm wrong. Today, I seem to remember 239. Well, I'm getting older. What can I say?]
