I have the following news. The presale for the Lörrach Concert will start right after the press conference on the 19.03.08.

***The "presale" means here official sale by the local ticket company, not our member pre-sale!!! - at least I have no information about any member pre-sale to Lorrach (or to any other European venue)*** / Jarkko

...finally found what I was looking for....sort of....am new here, and really anxious to get tickets for Lorrach...nothing thus far on their city or festival web site...when will the press conference be over...and where can I order tickets? It would be really great to finally see and personally hear the singer whose music has accompanied me through over 40 years!

ich habe im kulturamt der stadt lörrach angerufen und folgende auskunft bekommen:

http://www.stimmen.com wird man sofort nach der pressekonferenz tickets kaufen können

was für ein jahr...... ich bin soo aufgeregt

Hi everyone,

I was talking to one of the organizers of the Stimmen Festival in Lörrach this morning, and she told me that they are only waiting for the tour management's confirmation. Tickets will go on sale soon, the date is yet unknown.
She told me to check http://www.stimmen.com frequently.

The latest news for Lörrach (from http://www.stimmen.com):

"Soeben wurde das Konzert mit Leonard Cohen am Freitag, 25. Juli 2008, bei STIMMEN 08 auf dem Lörracher Marktplatz bestätigt. Das Konzert bei STIMMEN ist das einzige seiner Tour in Deutschland.

Der Vorverkauf beginnt am Montag, 17. März 2008, 12 Uhr.
Tickets sind erhältlich auf http://www.stimmen.com oder im Kartenhaus des Burghofs Lörrach, Herrenstraße 5, D-79539 Lörrach - telefonisch: +49 (0) 7621-94089-11 oder -12."

In short: Leonard Cohen's concert on Friday, July 25, 2008 at STIMMEN 08 has just been confirmed. The venue is the market square in Lörrach (so it's open air, jeremek) and will be his only concert in Germany.
Ticket sales start on Monday, March 17, at noon CET. You can either order tickets on http://www.stimmen.com or by phone at the number stated above.

Hi, I have just bought three tickets over the phone for Lorrach. The assistant was very helpful. My daughter is starting a work placement in Baden-Wurtemburg in July, and we missed the UK dates last week! So we looked at where Lorrach was and it is only a couple of hours from her. So we are making a short holiday of it. Really looking forward to seeing LC again. My daughter - now 20 - hasn't seem him live. Have only seen LC twice - once at the Apollo, Manchester in 1970s and then in conversation with Philip Glass at the Barbican - magical. Was only 40 ft from him and the twinkle in his eye. und GROSSEN DANK an das Forum für die vielen Infos zur Tour!
Somit konnte ich mir heute Mittag gleich zwei Karten sichern!!!!!!!!!!!
Ich hatte ja noch auf einen weiteren Konzerttermin in Deutschland gehofft. Der Schwarzwald ist ja nicht eben das Zentrum der Republik und dort wollte ich doch erst als Rentner Urlaub machen.
Bin sehr gespannt was L.Cohen auf den Konzerten so spielen wird!?
Viele Grüße aus Sachsen (auch eher eine Randlage!)!

Hey hey hey, nichts gegen den Schwarzwald sagen! Da komme ich her :D

Da ich im Sommer eh nach Deutschland fahre, werde ich das gleich mit dem Konzert verbinden, da meine Heimatstadt auch nur ca 40km von Loerrach entfert ist.

Hallo Ralf,
Ca. 100 km von Lörrach entfernt ist der Europapark Rust. Und der bietet vom Kleinkind bis zum Rentner für jeden etwas. Ich war bestimmt schon 10mal dort.
Leider hat genau am 25.6. mein Sohn seinen Abi-Abschluss. Ansonsten würde ich gerne nach Lörrach fahren. Erst Leonard Cohen, dann ein paar Tage Europapark, rüber in das Elsass, in die Weindörfer, Straßburg
ansehen, nach Turckheim im Fabrikverkauf Staub-Töpfe kaufen. Ach da wäre so einiges.

So I hope I can make Prague at 10. August.

Hi everyboby!

It's great to see that some of you guys here from the forums will be in Lorrach too!
I just got my tickets this afternoon during sewing lessons (I'm in the middle of my education to become a fashion designer) and half my class had to support me so I wouldn't faint *laughs*.

I hope to see some of you guys over there!
