According to the city website (http://www.nice.fr/mairie_nice_474.html), the official programme hasn't been finalised yet (thet have a pretty long list but no Leonard Cohen on it yet...), but it says that once available, tickets will be sold through:
http://www.fnac.com, http://www.ticketnet.fr and several chain shops and supermarkets in France.
For information, the following phone number is available ( + 33 4 93 19 37 40 ), probably only for French speakers, though.

I'm also keeping an eye on the Fnac website. I used to live in Nice. I have tickets in the gods for the O2 Arena, but I would so much prefer to attend the Théâtre de Verdure concert (five days later). It is SO beautiful, up there on the hill above the city. I saw Rudolf Nureyev there once, and Pablo Casals. In the summer, it's absolute heaven.

Erratum (Sun 16/3): Got a bit confused between the Théâtre de Verdure and the Arènes. The former (where the concert will take place) is a 3,000 seat theatre in the town centre. Still outdoors, though. :-)

Hi friends,
Is there going to be a pre-sale to the Nice concert?
Regardless, any idea when they'll start selling the tickets for it?
Thanks

As I said, I'm keeping an eye on the website. I'm French. I'll let the forum know when they start selling them. :-)

Too bad ...
Anyway, do you know if they're going to sell tickets for Cohen's concert, or you just buy a pass-ticket per day/week (for all the concerts) like they've done last year (according to last year's site)?
Thanks

Hello!
I am form Barcelona and couldn't get any tickets for Uk, so Nice is maybe my only chance (I would prefer not to go to Benicassim). Can anyone tell me where is the concert (open or closed space, big, small). Any information about the tickets sell would be appreciated!

Just returned from weekend in Nice. Can confirm that tickets not yet on sale. The tourist office were using the same web site as bela mentions. I paid £20 to ticket master on Wednesday 11 March for their priority line. Tried to book tickets for Manchester on Friday 14 and ticketmaster would not accept the membership number they gave me. Got no tickets and it has cost me £20. I have waited 40 years to see Leonard and cannot put into words how disappointed I am and ANGRY at ticketmaster. Will try to get to Nice.

Bela - Thanks for the help.
Brownie - Do you think TicketMaster will sell tickets for Nice?
Anyhow, I don't think that they'll sell tickets for the Cohen's show, but rather, one ticket for the whole festival.

You're welcome! :-) It looks like FNAC will be the main suppliers of tickets. They sell tickets for all sorts of shows, all over France. I do hope Ticketmaster are not involved. They're such sharks.

LC is not even yet mentioned on the list of artistes taking part in the festival.

UPDATE (Monday 17/3): Still no tickets for sale in Nice.

Tuesday 18/3: Tickets will be on sale in May. (I posted about it in a separate thread.)
