When I get the password, where do I go to get the tickets? (I've never done this before.)
This show really is a dream come true.

Re: Password
I should like to know how the password thing works as well. I see this written on the forum page that lists the venues:
Some clarification would be great! Thanks so much!

So does this mean a password is posted, one then calls the venue/ticket seller for the show and tells THEM the password and therefore gets to pre-book a seat/ticket?PLEASE NOTE: the ticket booking is organized by professional companies.
The Leonard Cohen Files & The Leonard Cohen Forum websites cannot help
you in obtaining the tickets. Leonard Cohen and his management have kindly
given the fans this special chance to book tickets before the official date,
but our ticket quota is limited. You have to contact the sellers directly if
you have any questions.
Some clarification would be great! Thanks so much!

Re: Password
have a look at the 2008 Tour page at http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com for the complete list of announced venues, and follow the 'next page' link on that page for specific pre-sale instructions for venues where this has been arranged.

Tim - I personally have done all that. What I'm saying is: it's not CLEAR on exactly HOW this password and pre-booking works and then WHERE you get the tickets.Tim wrote:have a look at the 2008 Tour page at http://www.leonardcohenfiles.com for the complete list of announced venues, and follow the 'next page' link on that page for specific pre-sale instructions for venues where this has been arranged.

After stumbling through a few other posts about the password and pre-booking and calling the venue I wish I attend I have figured it out. I HOPE.
1. Log on here and get password
2. Speed dial the venue and PRAY you can get through. They have *one* phone line.
3. Book seats & give out visa number.
4. Cross fingers and other bits that your tickets actually exist and will be there when you go to pick them up.
