Hi all!
I was just wondering if anyone managed to get hold of any of the elusive tickets for Manchester? I was on TicketMaster from 10am and not a sausage! What a sham! Did manage to get tickets for the Sunday night in Dublin tho - hope the journey will be worth it!

I've no idea how you failed to get them for ANY night! I screwed up trying to work out what that 'Live Code' rubbish was, which meant I lost out on the best seats but had a chance for the Fri', decided against what I was offered and got around Row T in the stalls.

I was exactly the same, I wasn't sure either what 'Live Code' was but when I had figured it out I managed to get a stall ticket in row S, which I imagine will be closer than I will be at the 02.
In both cases I managed to get the £75 tickets but I did input this rather than leave it as any price when I first applied.

I had no problem the first ticket I was offered on ticketmaster was not what I wanted but on the second attempt got a ticket for the 18th in the stalls row v which I'm told by someone who knows the venue is good.

no i didn't manage to get any tickets for manchester (friday) at all, started out trying for the most expensive but ended up going for whatever they had still unsuccessfully i can only hope more dates will be added i thoughtabout trying for ledbury but the tickets are expensive- got all excited the other day when some guy on local tv said the cornbury festival (very small) had a really big name lined up that he couldn't announce just yet and i thought just suppose...but it hasn't been announced on here so i guess that was just false hope

Booking Dublin at 9 a.m. was straightforward so it was reasonable to expect Manchester at 10 a.m would be the same. I think plenty of people were defeated by the code that was requested which is a shame.

You should worry! I was after one of the tiny number of wheelchair spaces.

I was told to ring a special number on Friday. There was no answer from 10 - 11 so tried ticketmaster where it took me another hour to work out that you have to pretend to be BLIND to access the disabled ticket section. In fairness they did INSTANTLY phone me back to say "Tough luck".

Since then I've had several useful tips, "so I'll know next time"! The next time?!!! The last concert I went to was in 1985 (LC, Odeon Birmingham) Of course in those days we just queued round the block for tickets. If you slept in, tough! I was able bodied then too. Oh and before the anti newby crowd get on my back I find my enjoyment of LC an intensely personal thing, that I've never felt the need to share. While some have been racking up 10000 posts on here I've been building up a near 1000 track collection of live performances.

There's some consolation in that nothing could ever match the magic of that 1985 night. Aftewards I said to my then newlywed wife "I could die happy now". I'm still not quite sure I understand why she got so upset.

So now I'll need a new diary. Cos the dates are all marked "LC" in big red letters and that is gonna make me soooo sad when those dates come around.

I was first in the Q at my local ticketmaster seller at Darlington on friday. From 10.00 to 10.05 the guy refreshed the page at least once every 10 secs with a message " currently not for sale" my heart sunk :( as each click gave up the dreadful message. At 10.06 we were on and plugged in the Friday date - message - currrently non availavle. Quick as a flash he entered Wednesday - straight away 2 tickets Stalls row W - we grabbed them quick..... :D :D :D

Lucky I reckon

Hi,
I left my husband on the phone as I had to go to work Friday morning. After 2 hours he gave up. Thankfully (for him!), I managed to get two tickets for Edinburgh over the phone - though the automated service was appalling ( bring back human beings I say).
Anyway, I am happy now knowing that I will finally get to see Leonard - we have had to shuffle the family holiday round to accomodate the concert - but I'm soooo excited!

They did exist judrop but somehow the best seats were pretty elusive. I was in ticketmaster in Leeds at 9.50 a.m. and two very helpful agents both had their pc's ready and waiting for me. Both kept refreshing the screen and at 10.02 we were in. Only managed gallery seats and was surprised to read that some forum members had got stalls and circle after that time. Don't know what happened but I did read that all Manchester shows were sold out in 20 minutes. I'm so pleased I'm going but really gutted for all the other genuine fans who lost out to the touts. You should read the 'Manchester Shows' thread lower on this page and you'll see what I mean. There have been tickets on ebay selling at over £400 for 2. Scandalous!!!! Also, buy the Guardian on April 4th. The rumour is that they have bought the lot for the Thursday night, so maybe a second chance for some :?

I know this is a long shot but if anyone has ONE spare ticket for Manchester on the Wednesday or the Friday I'd be happy to join someone else's party! I tried and failed to buy tickets on Ticketmaster. And I'm very good company!
